Developers have already stated that games made from the ground up using DX12 will obviously see better improvement than a DX11 game patched.
With that said I can't wait for DX12 games to hit the market for xbox one.
Did you not read what he actually said? With a DX12 "PATCH" Xbox One will gain 7% or slightly more.
That's actually bigger than what I would expect from a game that was developed using DX11.
What I'm looking forward to is when games are made actually using DX12 for the xbox one. It's not a stretch to assume even greater gains. DX11 is a dinosaur compared to DX12 for game development.

The xbox one "beta tested in the future" was specifically made with DX12 in mind. The Xbox One is a windows 10 device. DX12 will not only make use of all the cores (Currently only one core being used with dx11) but it will also make much better use of its super fast ESRAM. Tiled resources, etc...The main reason for the difficulty for some 3rd party games not reaching full 1080p. The absolute most fun I've had in a while playing a game. It is indeed a GEM & it's free to play. If you love RPG's, whether action or turn based, you will love this game. The depth of the game play & customization is astounding. Graphics are solid & gameplay mechanics are perfect. As someone who loves Diablo, Dark souls, Final Fantasy, Dragon Age, The Witcher...... This game is easily my favorite.
The biggest reason Sony is ahead in terms of console sales is due to the fact that the Ps4 launched worldwide, while the xbox one launched in just a few countries up until recently. Xbox was never going to out sell the ps4 (world wide)no matter what ram they put in the console.
In regards to the USA, Xbox will likely surpass the Ps4 by the end of the holidays. All data I've seen shows that the Ps4 only has a 1 million console advantage in the USA.

Obviously if you take your game disc to a friends house, your friend can play the game. But, that's not what I'm talking about. You can purchase One game digitally. And all 3 friends/family members can play that ONE game at the same time YOU are playing it. Also, you only have to pay for ONE xbox live account & you get 6 gold memberships/gamer tags for ONE.

For me it was Kings Quest for the PC. Quake & Duke Nukem stand out on PC as well.
For consoles Fantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast got me hooked on console online gaming. But other console games that left an impression are Super Metroid, the star wars game on super Nintendo, and the first Halo.
What I find very interesting & telling is that Xbox One & Xbox 360 total sales are 47 million in the US & Ps4 & Ps3 sales are at 31 million. I have 2 xbox ones & a Ps4 playing on my LG 4k 60 inch tv and both look great. I have tried some of the multiplatform games for both & the difference is indistinguishable.

well it looks like the ps4 doesn't have the better version. Gamespot confirmed today that both the ps4 & the xbox one versions are 1080p. Xbox one is locked at 30 fps & the ps4 version is unlocked but frame rate bounces all over the place but typically right above 30 fps.
I prefer a steady frame rate than one that bounces all over the place & with both being 1080p, it's the xbox one version for me.

LOL....I'm watching the video comparison on my 60 inch LG Plasma screen in 1080p & if I pause & look very closely, the PC version is a tad sharper, but TBH the xbox one & Ps4 versions look damn near identical. I don't know what the official res difference is but, fanboys fight over 1080p vs 900p & with the 900p upscaled via the hana chip in the xbox one, its very hard to tell any difference what so ever.

FH2 is the best looking & playing racing game I have ever played to date. It's open world, graphics is stupidly sick, and gameplay is incredible.
