And if the 360 is dead in japan, then look at the figures - the PS3 is on life support.
And to suggest that Sonys online experience is currently better than MS? Well you definately need to check the dosage.

Interesting that you'll reserve judgement on the quality of the XBox verson of Madden, but compare a Halo Beta to unreleased Sony software, that you DON'T reserve judgement on.
I guess this is how Sony's "Just Wait" marketing works. As long as they can convince some of you that someday the PS3 will be worth it, you'll jump right on board and spend the wait doing whatever it takes to justify your purchase.

Maybe this type of issue and the comparison issues (ie. the darkness) wouldn't be quite so easy for xbox owners to laugh about, if Sony had actually marketed the Ps3 with the truth, rather than trying to make out that the thing was more powerful than god. So the PS3 version is weaker beacause the 360 is a worse piece of hardware. I guess you've never heard of logic.
If something runs fine on the 360 and has frame issues on the PS3 without having better graphics or other improvements, then guess what - Its the fault of the PS3, not the 360.

The size of the market is not calculated by adding the number of countries in a region, but by adding the populations.
Sony would be admitting they were wrong.
All current PS3 owners would be annoyed, and all current games would have to be rereleased on dvd.
No one would trust them ever again.
And they would be bound to lose with Blu-Ray too.
I guess the whole thing really depends on how deep sonys pockets are.
because if sony drop out of the console market completely, the quality of xbox games will drop through the floor.
Us 360 owners need healthy competition to ensure that microsoft keep pushing great product in our direction.

Here in the uk, the shelves were full of unsold units during lauch week.
You still can't buy a wii though for love nor money.
I've played both gears and Vegas quite solidly.
I still find I get stuck in Gears jumping from one piece of cover to another and back again over and over.
Both games are great, but vegas definately has a better cover system.
Imagine trying to play gears on life if it was full of 9 year old japanese kids.

We all know about the 3 rings and, yes, MS should do better.
I've had a Sony Video recorder, PDA, Laptop, PS2, and PS1. Not sure about the PS1 (as I gave it away), but apart from the PS2 the rest have failed and been junked. Though in Sonys defence, the PS2 has done incredibly well as it was a launch machine and is still going strong.
I've only had a 360 since January, and I love it. If it breaks, I'll send it back...
