Yesterday there were a bunch of 8's, and today I've read 1UP & Kotakus reviews and they both liked the game.
I'll gladly take a 7.5-8 for the first entry in a reboot series. That's not bad at all.
I don't see why we wouldn't get them. With New Vegas a week away, I'm sure the deal will come to NA as well.
Was hoping for the half off deal XBL got on the Fallout 3 DLC, but this works just as well, plus a "chace" at getting in the KZ3 beta, plus whatever stuff they have for November & December as well.

I still think they can make a good 3D Sonic game. I enjoyed Sonic Adventure for the most part, thought SA2 was a little better. They just need to work on which aspects work and ditch those that don't. Also, a solid storyline.
Why not make a one thats 2D/3D crossover? One that switches over from time to time. I'd enjoy that.
If a few of those were available to buy, and cheap, I'd for sure pick up Electabuzz & Cubone. Although the Poliwrath looks a bit too menacing. Didn't know he was a meat eater either..

Yeah that's the only thing that makes sense to me, not having a receiver in a room. But I think a majority of people now a days, especially those willing to switch to a new provider, would have one in most rooms.
We have 2 receivers in rooms that aren't even occupied, just TV's there.
The only other thing I could think of would be in some cases (like ours) where U-Verse is newer, HD channels are limited to 1 box at a time unless its on the same ch...
And I don't really get how it gives it an edge. It says I could view U-Verse HD content on my 360, but why would I want to when I could just watch it on U-Verse? Unless I take my console to a friends house or something...I don't get it. Maybe that's just me and I'm not understanding the article?
That Hale is "Out". I know R2 ended the way it did (no spoilers), but he's still gotta be central to the plot. Not as a main character but the storyline.
I said a few months ago I'm hoping he turns out to be the final boss, in whatever form possible, your guess is as good as mine. And it will come down to Hale pulling a Darth Vader on the Emperor (Chimera) and maybe you controlling Hale to beat the Chimeran race & complete the story.

I've been putting off my Plus subscription for awhile since I own most of the games they've been giving out, and the beta would give me incentive to sign up for the $17.99 3 month trial at most..So I guess what counts is what content they have planned for November & December as well. Hmmm...
On the plus side, being unemployed does give me the benefit of camping in front of tv constantly updating my PStore so I'd say I have a decent chance at being the first 5,...
That kind of sounds like the 360/PS3 console launch. Do 360 owners see it like that?
It doesn't matter who launches first and who doesn't. That's part of the strategy. Yes Move came out first but that doesn't mean it will automatically win. If there's anything Microsoft can do right its Market & Hype.
I have the Move, love it, and expect it to stick around maybe even into PS4. But I still expect Kinect sales to go off this holiday
All of the Fallout 3 DLC is discounted on 360 and not PS3. I've been waiting forever to play it, there was just no way I'd be shelling out $50 for it. Getting it for $25 would have been a perfect transition into New Vegas

Haha, it's not as bad as it sounds. He has the original one, no games, and never plays it but doesn't wanna trade it in since he'll prob get $10.
I do have games from my last PSP that broke last year, so I help him out, he helps me.

I already had a PS Eye but the standalone Move controllers were sold out everywhere. Only store that had anything was Gamestop & the $99 bundle. Bought it, and convinced my buddy to trade me the PSP he never uses for me extra camera. Win-win for me :)
I like it a lot so far. Sports Champions is fun, yet not overly easy. Perfect balance. However MAG is soooooo hard. I'm gonna have to relearn how to shoot from the ground up in that game, so that'll be a challenge. ...
I still have my Dreamcast plugged in as we speak, right next to my PS3 & Genesis. One of my favorite systems. I would buy a Dreamcast 2 day 1, even if I know it would never be able to compete head to head w/ the big 3.

I was probably going to rent this anyway, as my Fall "must buy" list is already pushing 6+ games, but I kind of feel bad for EA. I have a feeling this game gets tore apart in reviews, and for all the wrong reasons.

Airport execution scene in MW2 didn't change those 9.5 scores from huge sites, I'm hoping MoH doesn't get the shaft for including realistic elements like this. I mean, it's basically the same thing, no?
Yeah I started getting it down after a few times. Hip, shoulder, waist etc. Still though I wish you could save a profile or something where you could just upload your settings every time you play. I guess the point of it is to make sure your in the camera view though, so no biggie.
On topic, I played MAG last night and it was hard as fuck with this thing. I have well above a 2:1 K/D ratio and I struggled to get more than 2 kills in the 5 games I played. That ones gonna take ...

Not that I have anything against it, I love me some Nazi zombies. I just don't know how the market still wants more of them
The MW games are so easy to pick up and play. So an easier shooter + constant play (respawns, quick matches) means lots of people sticking with it.
I know I compare it to SOCOM a lot, since that's my favorite "hardcore" shooter, but a perfect example is my friend who has a 1:2 K/D ratio on SOCOM but plays it once a month, compared to MW2 where he has a 2:1 and can play that game for hours at a time.

"No alternate story co-op similar to Resistance 2" blows (loved it in R2) but everything else in there sounds pretty damn fun. And they still haven't said much of anything about online play, so I'm super optimistic in this being the best of the franchise.
