"It came out over 2 years ago."
On PS5. Of which it has had many price cuts in sales.
"Just because it just released on PC, it does not justify chagring full price"
It's a new product on that platform. It requires work, time and money to port.
PC players want these games, then they need to put their money where their mouths are.
For me it's something that helps me want to buy a console day one.
Launch titles tend to be thin on the ground for a new console, so being able to play your old games whilst you wait for new games that you want, without having to go back to your (most likely) aging console, is a huge plus.
As time goes on its needed less and less, but for me if the Switch 2 is BC, it's most likely going to be a day one purchase.
The only other ...
Can I just give a shout out to Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed.
Just released its third batch of FREE DLC.
"Does Activision still have the rights?"
They do not.
"I thought they lost them, and that was why the Cybertron games left stores."
This is correct. I dunno if MS can/ would go back to Hasbro and try and negotiate a new deal.
But even if they could I doubt they would, same with Spider-Man.
"I'd say more than half of N4G community is in their 30s-40s+. We grew up on these games, they're hardly niche£
They didn't say there market was niche.
"There's too much missing, including licensed titles, for me to even consider subbing to this."
Hence why it's a niche service.
Unless you have receipts, the people who said it was scummy probably aren't the same people who are saying this is just business.
It's like when fanboys accuse PlayStation fans of "you all said"....No some people said, I am saying something different, we're not a hive mind.
I'd rather none of those publishers are bought.
The more 3rd party publishers on the market the better.
The demo didn't work on me......
Because I had the game on Pre Order anyway :D I haven't touched the demo as I want to go in as blind as possible.
I wonder if MGS Delta is a success than MGS will be next up for the remake train.
The trailer was very "Starship Troopers" which was a nice little nod and a wink.
I liked it.
"Sony didn't pay Square for exclusivity (you know the thing that Sony is crying about with COD being the biggest FPS)."
It's not JUST Cod tho is it? And there is a difference between timed exclusive and owning the IP
"And the reason why Square doesn't put the game on Xbox is because ppl don't buy them due to Game Pass."
Both can be true? If Sony are offering you a good deal on the condition that you ...
I'd counter argue that Game Pass isn't the problem.
It's expecting games day one on Game Pass that's the issue.
Xbox first party title I get, but it sets a president from gamers who expect all games to go on Game Pass.
That is just not realistic or sustainable.
I gave up on the story on Horizon ZD about halfway through. I have skipped every cutscene so far in Forbidden West.
I have no clue what's going on, and I don't really care either.
I really liked the first one for a short while.
Until it becomes a typical grind-a-thon.
If you don't play it from day one, and just play that game, you soon become out gunned by those that do dedicate more time.
Games should be about skill, not who has the better gun or gear because they can spend more time on it.
"Yes Microsoft and Nintendo do it as well and yes it should be looked into as well"
But it's not, this guy is focusing purely on Sony.
And until the practice as a whole is looked at then it's not an issue.
Also it's not anti competitive if the others are also doing it which you admit they do.
I loved this game back in the day, me and my best friend would spend hours and hours on this.
Such a shame, but no doubt it was dead years ago.
Even the 360 version is on deaths door you can spend an hour just trying to find a game.
"As they should, Sony is preventing Xbox gamers playing JP games like Final Fantasy"..
And..........Oh is that it? Do you have any more examples of Japanese games Sony has blocked? And I mean where Sony have a written down deal that specifically excludes Xbox and not because of poor Xbox sales in Japan.
Another Xbox fanboy made a similar claim on Eurogamer, but funny enough they couldn't think of any more examples.

If I was Sony I'd say make all past future ActiBlizz games, old and new IPs all on PlayStation, and the same with Bethesda.
And no games released by ActiBlizz can be on Game Pass for at least 12 months.
The problem with live services is there isn't an infinite amount of gamers or even gamers with an infinite amount of free time.
It's really a very small market and sure you get the occasional surprise hit (Rocket League, Fall Guy) but alot of the time these games aren't interesting enough.
My biggest bug bare with online multiplayer in general is the whole "progression system" in games like COD and Battlefield.

They should just be told "you have to make digital keys available anywhere".
You can now but I don't think it's official. Eg I bought GOW Rag digital key off CDKeys.
I put in the key, it was legit, it worked, zero issues, but I've noticed the store doesn't register it as a purchased game.
I've played the game, completed the game, but PSN still marks it as a game I can buy.
