It's always fun when people read a headline and comment without reading the article.
The article mentions that Apple has its own conference. In fact, the whole article is about how E3 needs Apple. Not the other way around.
You do know that cash in the bank isn't an accurate representation of a company's financial health, right?
In fact, if a company maintains a lot of cash in the bank and doesn't do anything with it, it's usually a sign of very poor management.
Is there some real reason that a good Chess game can't be considered for a top 10 list (especially a top 10 list of niche games that don't get much coverage)?
Everyone with a Vita has Persona 4 Golden - it's right at the top of the sales charts on the PSN months after it was released.
There's a difference between "the best 10 Vita games" and "10 Vita games you might not even know exist, but are great"
And then justifying EA's decision to all-but give up on the Wii U.
These things go in circles. EA is not going to support the Wii U until people start buying Wii Us and EA games on the console. If you want EA to stop "insulting" you, than buy EA's games.
Also the last Need for Speed was a commercial disaster on the Wii U.
@cyguration the Frostbite Engine on mobile is Frostbite Mobile, not Frostbite 3.
Or, if there are offline features, then they'll be limited in what they can do.
So the world's first look at a new games console, and Microsoft's attitude is "nah, we're not going to show you games."
A very silly strategy. First impressions count, and judging from Twitter Microsoft just got off to a very poor first impression.
If you looked at EA's financial reports you would realise pretty quickly that it is not in a position to support a platform that it will only sell 10,000 copies on.
Tell you what, @RAFFwaff - you guarantee with a contract to EA that you will buy one million copies of a game on Wii U. I bet you EA produces that game.
People should learn how to use paragraphs before they think they can be a journalist.
Seriously it's impossible to give you point of view credit when write illiterately.
The grammar in the headline is incorrect. "It's" means "it is".
Games press gets this wrong all the time.
I love Kings Field. These games were the spiritual predecessor of the Soul's games (Demon's, Dark).
As good as those games are. I want a sequel to King's Field
Except neither XCom nor Tactics Ogre even come close to the strategic depth of a Paradox title.
You're getting Tactics games mixed up with the Strategy genre. If you have actually played a game like Hearts of Iron or Europa Universalis, you would realise how silly it is to compare Tactics Ogre to Paradox games.
How the heck did this get approved? The person in the image is Goichi Suda.
This headline is grammatically incorrect.
For some weird reason I am really looking forward to this. I've been an on-and-off fan of FIFA over the years, but this is the first I reckon I'll get on day one.
Kings Field are the Demon's Souls/ Dark Souls before those games existed.
And I preferred them King's Field IV especially is my favourite game that From has ever made.
The reason that Civilization games are not right for consoles is because they're not hyper-linear games that tell players every single thing they need to do, funnel them down corridors and highlight target objectives with bright neon lights.
In other words, because Civilization games requires players to have a brain, these games have no hope in beating Call of Duty ;-)
Read the review. It's mentioned in there.
I really wish the games community would learn that there are different forms of journalism, and different expectations when it comes to the journalist's personal voice.
Criticism is a subjective form of writing, not objective. For some reason this is accepted as truth in film, literature, dining, theatre, opera, music, and any other genre of entertainment you can think of. And yet there are gamers out there that continue to expect a review to read like an encyclopedia en...
