thereaperson, thats not the point, all online games should come with chat as standard, especially a 1st party title. Back in the PGR2 days i made a lot of friends on Xbox LIVE and a bit of friendly banter during a race can make it a great laugh.
I hope so, I wasn't aware that as a European PS3 owner I accepted 2nd class treatment, late game releases, higher prices and less PSN content.
I agree with your top spot 101%, Halo 3 is T H E G A M E to play on X360, I have always been a fan of the Halo games and Halo 3 is no exception. Bungie are one incredible development team and stay in touch with fans so well, they tottaly deserve all the success they've earnt.
People need to get over the R2 review, I like the game, but I can understand why people wouldn't. Also, like Mart pointed out, you can't claim a review site/mag is biased when it suits your platform of choice.
Hmm, i agree gameplay is obviously more important, but for an exclusive title thats an RPG, I would expect them to push the hardware a bit more than they apparently have done, will wait and see though.
I disagree about WKC looking bad, but dam, that Dinivty 2 looks pretty sweet!
MGS4 has very impressive character models, but environment textures leave a lot to be desired at points in the game. Uncharted is the best looking game so far this generation in my opinion, followed by Gears 2/MGS4 as a tie.
I recieved my copy of Resistance 2 yesterday, and haven't stopped playing it since, the only trouble I have with it is splitting my time between campagin, co-op and competitive. It really is a great game, matchamking could be smoothed out a bit (I've been put in quite a few 60 player cap matches with only 2 or 3 squads, too much walking round between kills) but that aside its a masterful achievement by insomniac.
Both SONY and MS have told a few lies to the consumers this generation, this isn't the true HD generation of gaming we were led to expect, we won't see that till PS4/Xbox whatever.
Trophies have the potential to be as good as achievements, if not better, they just need to streamline the whole process, and viewing profiles while they're at it. You shouldn't need to sync a trophy, it should work like 360 achievements.
I don't know why I'm wasting my time replying to you, but here goes. What you force your X360 into doing during your 'personal time' doesn't reflect on every other X360, okay?
"A headset for online gaming"? You say that like its a bad thing, I mean who wants to communitcate and discuss tactics while online? Honestly.
Excellent post, people seem to forget SONY has been in the console market over twice as long as MS, same with Nintendo. So you would kind of expect MS to struggle with their 1st and 2nd gen consoles, but the 360 in my eyes has been a big success for them as it really has (and still does) competed with the PS3, despite having a much weaker brand name.
I purchased my PS3 when MGS4 was released, since then I have 4 (yes, just 4....) friends, 1 of whom 1 know in real life and another is an XBL friend. Now to put it in perspective, in the same time period on XBL, I have gone from around 60 on my friends list, to around 90. However, from what I hear, Home will be a mssive boost to the community aspect of PSN.
PS: Sony, please do something to speed up the time it takes to load up someones profile, even my own -_-. And NEW AVATARS! ...
I really like LBP, however it clearly isn't the game to push massive amounts of PS3 like many people on here said it would and the sales so far have been dissapointing. I expected it to sell a lot more than fable, considering LBP has mass market appeal whereas Fable 2 is a game that doesn't cater to the core 360 demographic.
I personally don't care about sales, but claiming MS and Bungie failed with Halo is rubbish, the franchise has produced one of the defining games of this decade (Halo CE) and 2 great sequels with excellent online play, arguably the best on last generation and current, thus far at least. You may not enjoy Halo, but the number of people playing online daily show a lot of people who certainly do.

In this generation of games consoles, no games thus far has surprassed the experience of playing Halo 3 online for me personally. Halo is just incredible online, it never seems to get old (partly due to Bungies' excellent community support), although I have a sneaking feeling Killzone 2 could steal that crown, heres hoping.
'Bunjie' (perhaps you meant Bungie?) obviously failed badly with the Halo franchise, it's not as if the franchise has sold over 20 million and the latest iteration, Halo 3 logs over 600,000 unique users a day even though it launched over a year ago. Oh wait..... Fair enough, you prefer the PS3 over the 360, but lets not start spouting tripe like this, okay?
