Exactly! Why would I pay $450 for a 770 when I can pay $350 with 3 free games for a comparable 280x.
Hell I have a 7950 3gb overclocked to 1100mhz. Stable without a problem and runs BF4 maxed with minor dips into the mid 50'S. When this is no longer enough, I can buy a 280 3gb for crossfire. All for a mere $199 with rabate. A cross gen card performance boost! I'd like to see Nvidias money grabbing customer using ass do that!
Shouldn't be to hard to port, considering the architecture is built on x86. Just a matter of dealing with the esram non sense that xbox decided use.
I genuinely hope sony will release some of their exclusives on PC....so many good games and I still don't have the extra income for a PS4 :-(

Amazing! you know there is money to be made, by selling cheats/hacks, when the first iteration of a game gets hacked in the first week of is code being released to the select few.
As time goes on, I keep hearing more disappointing news. Majority of cards wont be supported, till later and the performance increases seen are typically found in systems with weak CPU's.
I have 6300 and 7950. So I wont be included in the mantle release and I believe my CPU wont see much benefit.
Sadly, I'm waiting either way. Woh the unfortunate souls that have the 7950, 7970, r280x, r270x, 7870...oh shit every card that should be but wont because they are using the 290 and 260 to beta test the driver.

This is the truth.....If you can save up for a DIY pc, I highly recommend it. You can find massive savings all year round on games...plus the modding communities show alot of love.

In my case....local toys r us over the holiday, had zero PS4 signs hanging around the store. I noticed it while I stood in line for 35mins with my sons xmas gifts.
35mins of trying to find a PS4 advertisement and not one could be seen in 360 degrees. Xbox one on the other hand, there were 7 signs.....Xbox has decide to continue their model....Marketing, not technical power.

I have 8gb of ddr3 and 3gb of gddr5 on my PC an even games on extreme settings dont consume more then 30% of my system.
There are only so many things that can be preloaded in a dynamic environment.

Difference Between sony and MS. Sony is willing to put its money where its mouth is. MS has commitment issues ;-* kind of like wallmart leasing all of there stores so they can close and run on a location without a true investment.
