The main reason in my opinion is simply UT3.Not to mention Drakes,Haze,GT5:Prologue(which makes forza2 look like it belongs in the 16-bit era),and Heavenly Sword.Of the few that I mentioned 3 are AAA titles.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if it did. To be honest, I still think soul calibur is still to this very day, one of (if not the best)the best fighting games ever made.Astaroth is supreme.The graphics,characters,balance, and music were top notch.Honorable mention goes out to resident evil code veronica too.
I think the difficulty in programming for the ps3 is going to be it's achilles heel(ala sega saturn).About time developers manage to ascend the learning curve when it comes to programming and coding for the ps3 it's going to be to much work to late.Microsoft will have come out with the xbox720, and then it's game over for sony and their 10-year itinerary.No matter what sony does then they will look last gen.

Besides the trees and foliage,where crysis is obviously gaphically superior,the games pretty much look the same.Which I have to say is quite impressive considering all the hype surrounding the graphics in crysis. kudos to Ubi Soft and Sony.And haze isn't even finished yet.

The 360's been out for over a year,and all I hear is gears, gears,gears.It's a shame when R:FOM was twice as long and twice as good(and it was a launch title).I beat GeOW in 10 hours,it took me 4.5 days to beat R:FOM,and thats not exaggerating.R:FOM moves twice as fast,and it's twice as intense, and in my opinion looks better too.The only part of GeOW that looks good is the cut scenes.The in game graphics don't look nearly as good as R:FOM when it's motion.If it wasn't for GeOW the 360 wouldn...

I hope naughty dog is one of those companies that's not scared to take full advantage of the PS3's capabilities.Watching all these half-a@s ports coming over from the Xbox360 is beginning to frustrate me.It's like watching someone who's inferior to you in skill get the credit,knowing they cut corners.And the fact that the xbox360 is holding the PS3 back when games are ported should tell developers something.They should change their lightbulbs(get it?!!)
The xbox360 is a good gaming machine,but ultimately it doesn't have the horsepower to withstand the test of time.I own both systems, and honestly motorstorm is better than anything that the 360 has to offer graphically.Gears of War in my opinion is sadly overhyped,because honestly it wasn't all that great.The graphics were ok but the gameplay was monotonous and repetitive.
Looking back at the decision to delete rumble,common sense should've dictated in that process.If ain't broke don't fix it or you might break it.If they need to get rid of anything it should be that"trying to hard" sixaxis control.If nothing else at least make it optional on every game.Can I get a AMEN.
