But Mass Effect 2 > Uncharted 2
Non-interactive, non-playable cutscenes SUCK!
Pretty sure it's her.

and the Metacritic score for its PC version is 95, virtually identical to the 360 score of 96.
Unless you're suggestion that the PC version is also getting an inflating score.
Uncharted 2 is a great game, but I actually enjoy Mass Effect 2 more. For one thing, Uncharted 2 has long non-interactive, non-playable cutscenes. All games should have interactive, playable cutscenes like Mass Effect 2. If developers want to make so many non-interactive cutscenes, they shou...
mikeslemonade: "Mass Effect 2 isn't a 96. In reality it's a 93."
Except The PC version of Mass Effect 2 has a Metacritic score of 95. Reviewers have noted that the PC and Xbox 360 versions are virtually identical. 96 and 95 are virtually identical scores.
... seems like mikeslemonade was suggesting that the PC version was also, inflated.
BioWare started out making action games first. Their first two games were Shattered Steel (action) and MDK (3rd-person shooter.)
BioWare has been making action games and 3-person shooters for a very long time -- actually much longer than they've been making RPGs.
PC does.
e.g., Crysis.
No, but in a couple years, iPhone will be a marginalized niche product just like Mac. Android will be the number-one mobile platform just like what Windows is in the PC market.
1. Multiplayer only. No thanks.
2. Another FPS. Yeah, like we need another FPS. Sick and tired of FPS (Halo included.)
3. Good is not good enough. With so many games score 80s and 90s at Metacritic, why should anyone bother with a game that score 77?
Frankly, I don't even consider 77 as good. We have so many options nowadays that any game below 80 is unacceptable.
Video game is a competitive market.

Baldur's Gate. Fallout 2. Thief. Unreal.
Technically, Final Fantasy VII was also released in 1998, (i.e., end of 1997 for PlayStation, and 1998 for the PC.)
In 1998, PC has hi-resolution graphics, but Final Fantasy VII (due to the limitation of the original PlayStation) was blocky and ugly. PC games like Diablo (released near the end of 1997), Baldur's Gate and Fallout 2 were in high-res -- and years ahead of Final Fantasy VII.
When I first played Fi...
There are people who don't buy anything without multiplayer.
And then there are people who don't buy anything with *only* multiplayer, i.e., me.
Kelly Chambers, Shepard's Administrative Assistant on the Normandy SR-2, is actually a romantic option (but NOT a party member.) But not too many players know about it.
Well, BioWare and Bethesda certainly haven't complained about it's "too much work" to populate cities and towns in their games.
Just play 1 and 2 on the PC. The PS3 versions are NOT going to be better than the PC versions.
Should have specified in the title.
BioWare said Mass Effect 2 would be out in about one year. It took more than two.
But the Mass Effect trilogy will be completed for Xbox 360 and PC. And then BioWare will make future Mass Effect games on Xbox 360, PC *and* PS3.
Ya, sure. LOL. Puhlease.
Most PCs do NOT have a blu-ray drive. So it makes sense to release Mass Effect 2 on DVDs instead of a blu-ray discs.
PS3 fanboys should stop whining about it and attacking the critics and reviewers. It's obnoxious and pathetic.
It's just a game. It wasn't even a high-profile or heavily-promoted game to begin with. PS3 has plenty of other games coming out in the next few months.
PS3 fanboys need to move on. Or just pick up Mass Effect 2 and play it on their "PC". Next.
nun?
