The price of PS3 really has not come down enough. Most consumers are reluctant to pay $300 for a 5-year-old game consoles. I'm personally not willing to pay for it for myself or as a gift for other people. It really should be $200 at this point in its life cycle.

Sony fanboys can disagree as much as you want, I'm just telling you as it is from a consumer and non-fanboy's point-of-view.

PC and even PSP will have more exclusive than Xbox 360 this year. WTF.

Dungeon crawler, like RTS, should be played on the PC, not console.

Haven't paid attention to gaming in a long while.

Let me guess: a high-profile PS3 exclusive has just been released, and it's been receiving less-than-stellar review scores. So now it must be the bias and fault of the "journalists".

Something still stays the same.

Do you know what is the first component I think is unnecessary and skip out on?

A blu-ray drive. I'm sticking to a DVD-RW drive.

All the Sony fanboys in here keep saying it's impossible for Apple to acquire Sony but it's more likely for Apple to acquire Disney because Sony is too "big" or costs too much money.

Hello? Disney is bigger and more expensive than Sony. Disney's market cap is $66.88 billion. Sony's market cap is $33.55 billion. Disney is worth TWICE as much as Sony.

Android will overtake iPhone and become the most popular smartphone. It's just a matter of when.

I can sit in a cafe, sipping honey ginseng tea and play a game on my PC laptop.

You cannot do that with a console.

I'd go crazy if I stay home for too long. I like playing games, and I like hanging out. And PC gaming is the ONLY solution.

Most employees wait and quit their jobs on the last day of the month. The 30th will be a day of infamy for Activison/Infinity Ward.

The article forgets an important reason: full backward and future compatibility.

When you buy a console, backward compatibility is always an issue. Xbox 360 does not play all Xbox games. The current PS3 SKUs do not play PS2 games.

However, PC is always 100-percent backward compatible. You may have to tweak some settings in Windows to get an old game to run correctly, but you know every old PC game is playable on today's systems.

AND, you can be assu...

All the idiots here keep saying PSP is for "adults". How often have you seen an adult played PSP? Like, as often as you've seen adults play a DS. *NEVER*.

Do you know what system adults use when they are outside their home/office and want to play some games? They use a notebook or laptop. That's how ADULTS play games when they're outside on the road or at the cafe. Sony fanboys are delusional and/or jealous of Nintendo's success when they make false claims that so...

West and Zampella were free to negotiate with EA or any competitor. Whatever non-compete agreement they had with Activision was useless in California.

However, if West and Zampella bad mouthed Activision and what they said were untrue, then Activision should have pursued a defamation or libel lawsuit.

This "insubordination" and "they negotiated with EA in violation of a non-compete agreement" -- and therefore the whole Activision's lawsuit -- are...

Non-compete agreements (that prevent employees from negotiating with or joining a competitor) are automatically void as a matter of law in California, except for three specific situations expressly authorized by statute, (none of which is applicable in Activision-Infinity Ward case.)

In addition, out-of-state non-compete agreements are not enforceable in California.

Companies in California like Activision continue to make employees sign non-compete contracts all the ...
