Without a doubt that's one of the funniest things I've seen in ages.
That's pretty stupid. I have to say though, when I called Sony about a defective PS2 (get this, the rumble didn't work!) the operator was extremely helpful. Within about 5 minutes I had arranged for a replacement console and controller (defective shoulder buttons). I explained the situation and explained how I had tested and confirmed the fault. No games. No irrelevant, lengthy fault finding procedures - straight to the point, good service. I even received the replacements within days.

Anybody else spot that? Middle, right picture in the Final Fight section. Damn that game was killer! I was fortunate enough to have the arcade board.
I like the newsreader at the end of the video. "A very popular game" - which I translate to "I have my copy pre-orderd!"
The Space Channel 5 series (with lag calibration!) - I'm still waiting on another sequel! Does UGA still exist? Are any of the members even at Sega anymore?
I also feel ChuChu Rocket is a like a premature XBLA game. It's perfectly suited.
Although I realise they're a different company, I contacted Amazon.co.uk asking whether they intended to offer a similar promotion but the response I recieved was worded like I wanted them to price match Amazon.com's HD DVD players. Idiots.
Free?! Oh yes! That's a winner right there!
Agree. This is pretty awful. Is there any point not including the game in the pack? Are they trying to trick people regarding the actual cost? They're going to have some many returns from people bemused that they've purchased a bunch of useless plastic toys.
Regarding importation, does the hardware have any kind of region restriction (X360)? Like you said, if it's feasible, I'll research purchasing a bundle from the US and the game from the UK.
No.
I'd rate the enlightened guitarist achievement as much more difficult than The Inhuman Achievement. Understandably it took ages for me to earn Enlightened but with Inhuman all you really need to do is fluke/learn the intro. The rest of the song isn't anywhere near as hard, especially since you'll have earned starpower by that point.
As far as I'm concerned, as long as the games aren't censored they can put whatever warnings they want on them.
What's taking so long with the Condemned 2 demo?!
Breakdown, by Namco. A sequel with this generation graphics and tweaked combat/gameplay would be a day-1 purchase for me.
I was quite excited about this game but the review notes that it's as long as the original. That sucks. The original was way too short... and I wasted time searching around for those birds.
Now I'm teetering on whether to pick it up immediately or buy after the first price drop.
I have a Philips 37" 9732 - I'm using it right now with this PC. Many people don't seem to understand what the problem is here. Comments/users stating TV response times are talking of something else entirely. The 9732 I own has a response time of 3ms, which is fantastic. I've yet to see any smearing at all. What the article describes is the time the TV takes to display the image at all. Not the time to update it. So, yes, it takes ~100ms to display the image. In regard to the actual imag...
This sucks. Stuntman was good fun, albeit occasionally frustrating.
Does this mean the IP is available for other developers to purchase, or has it simply been scrapped?
I think you'll find the recent BOGOF sale for HD DVD will have shaken up the charts considerably.
"fewer, bigger, better titles" and "Hollywood tie-ins" seem to contradict each other quite brilliantly.
Nice to see Indiana Jones and Turok on there. I notice Breakdown has been listed again. Hopefully now it doesn't crash when you press A, or similar. How did they possibly not notice that previously?!
Still no Rallisport 2 though!
Crash Time!!!
