Isn't Sterling notorious for being incredibly harsh on games? That is the only thing that bothers me here. I pre-ordered the game and it honestly looks AT least like a 7 to me, probably will be an 8 from me.

I really wanted to like this console after MS dropped all of the consumer choking garbage, but come on, it is the weaker of the two, it obviously shows, yet they still insist on forcing Kinect on us and inflating the price by $100. Yep and that was quite stupid as well. I was basically saying that it is stupid to have heated discussions over such a stupid thing for any console but I guess people will still do that regardless.
That is the way it should be, Rockstar has created a fantastic game and you are enjoying it, regardless of platform, since the differences are indeed minor. That is what gaming is about, having fun. Not this console wars crap.

Honestly, the differences are minor here, they said it themselves, with the only major difference being the lesser quality textures of some parts of the 360 version. Could that not be patched down the line? That is a genuine question because I really don't know. I own a 360 and PS3 but my primary gaming is on 360 right now so I would prefer that one but maybe after a patch or two for the textures and that installing the play disc fiasco.

It is a little difficult taking this reviewer seriously when he complains about criminals doing criminal-ish things in a GRAND THEFT AUTO game. Also, he goes on about how the society in the game is full of itself and concentrates hardcore on self image. Yeah, it is based off of California, which is in the United States, which is exactly that, full of itself and constantly concentrating on self image. This is basically a parody-like representation of that.
I noticed this with the DLC on certain games as well. Arkham City's DLC is gone, or half of it at least. My brother also cannot purchase Lego Batman 2 at the moment. Hopefully that gets sorted out soon, though it should.
Bad Company 2 did full building destruction on current gen consoles back in 2010, 3 years ago. This game only does limited 'destruction' with an outdated engine on next gen systems. It is pathetic. Sadly, this game will still sell millions, especially this time since it is the only COD game on the new systems.
It is weird that Kojima, the creator of a series that is almost always single player focused, is praising a console that you will lock you out of the single player focused game that you paid for if you do not connect online.

I played the trial and they nailed the concept so well. My only problem and it is a bit of a large problem, are the bugs. Whether it is graphical glitches or some controls issues, the bugs are the biggest problem. They just need to patch those and we will be set. When I can, I will purchase this game.
