I still think this is just coming from suits who don't understand that games are interactive. When you stream movies you get data and your device processes the entire thing on your end. With games it just doesnt work like this, you end up with an inferior experience and the processing has to be pretty much all server side, which doesnt make a lot of business sense to me.
The reaction on the internet is funny, poor performance (or really just less than expected) on pc = bad console port and "this is why pc gaming sucks, get it on console!". Same game has performance issues on console, "its just a beta".
I thought the idea of season pass was so you got all dlc for one price...
Its almost never a good idea to get games at launch.
This model is more for a niche anyway, a niche of gamers who buy many games though.
No this is good, you don’t release bad games because you lose the trust of the customer.
I kind of figured it would be like that, to do a game like this properly you need more dev time than ea would give.
Who pays for these articles? They set such an awful tone, especially for people who aren’t that technical. It’s pretty obvious what they are doing to me, just not why. People see stuff like this and they think it runs much better on console when it actually is locked at 30 FPS and much lower settings lol.

Dsog articles like this are crap, they are still running an old ddr3 era cpu.
Read the article, it’s not in any way struggling to play the game. They simply can’t hit a perfect locked 60 unless you turn down settings, but it’s playable at ultra. Also, some of their specs are very outdated.

Most people only care about a handful of games, some of them are pc exclusives like league of legends.
Last gen there was a pr campaign against pc, not much actually changed.
lower some settings and you will be fine, unless your cpu isnt up to the task. At the end of the day, the game doesnt even seem to be very good.
