@donnie what a straw man, there are more high end video cards out there than Xbox one Xs. The x is a pretty niche.
Yes, but over time mid range gets more powerful. I think next gen consoles might actually have good bc though. The kind where old games look and play better than before.
Unoptimized games are uniptimized on all platforms, like anthem is in its current state.
There are games with graphical settings differences between ps4, Xbox 1, ps4 pro and Xbox one x. Include pc and there is almost always settings higher than any console version. You don’t even have to take my word for it, digital foundry shows it.
That’s actually not true at all, many games have different settings on even PlayStation vs Xbox. On top of that, render resolution makes a huge difference in visual quality anyway.

The reason makes no sense at all, the money is made from software sales and services not so much hardware. Only reason they upgrade is to keep up with technology every 6 years, if they could I bet they would love to have even longer generations.

@PlayableGamez- you basically just dont want people making games in sub genres you dont like, you say it like there arent several games in other genres coming out at any given time. Also, nobody cares about single player call of duty anymore which we can see by looking at player stats. You want a single player shooter, play metro, rage 2, far cry 5, doom or something else.
Its in the wrong genre for him/her.

Final fantasy xv wasn’t really all that great, monster hunter world is. Final fantasy xv has the worst battle system in the entire main series by far.
