@Peasfor: I was of the impression that:
1a) RGB screen helped with rainbow effect and resolution, while;
1b) Sony's own brand of lenses dealt with screendoor effect and better field of view compared to other 1080p VR solutions.
Better yet - drop the pad, add IOS/Android second screen functunality!
The price rises pretty steeply from hybrid to full SSD. Not worth it IMO.
Nindendo will achieve higher IQ at 900p than both S and M are able to at 1080p.
Bloodborne's difficulty is by design. And what excellent design it is. Too many games these days are just about plowing through, holding your hand until the end credits.
I would do two things however:
1) Highlight levers better
2) Place the hints better
As if they AREN'T the most cringe worthy about their VR commercials.

I'm sitting happily on the fence while I let whatever's left of the fanbase test and review the game for me. I've been burned enough times.

I'm a PS4 supporter any day of the week, but developers are spreading the butter to thin. On PS4 and Xbox One alike. I'd much rather they focus more on IQ and artstyle, rather than chasing 1080p. We just gotta admit. Neither of these consoles can compete with what's on the graphics market. It's not even a competition.
I've been trying for over half a year, and yes, the game really puts ALL of its faith in you as a player. But man, is it rewarding when it all just finally clicks and you don't die for half an hour.. An hour.. 2 hours.. Beat this giant beast.. understand how you can best these crow-things you've been avoiding for the duration of your epiphany.
I'm going to learn and use stun. The game has just recently clicked with me, so viscerals is a whole new concept.
I also randomly stumbled upon the Cleric Beast while waiting to coop with a friend. This game has such an amazing design and style!
