And this my friends is why public relations folks DESPISE european gaming media. These mofo's wouldn't know what an embargo was if it smacked them in the face.

Sounds about right. Gamestop made 8 billion dollars in used games alone last fiscal year. That number is straight up silly.

He reads DualShockers, you should comment on the post, maybe you can reconnect!

On Topic: I'm glad they delayed this title to really polish it up. If it's as good as Aaron says it is already, this should live up to the original.

It was something that was so obvious when you think about it, but overlooked by EVERYONE! R* took us to Mexico in RDR, I wouldn't put it past them to return to the city in modern day.

@gamingdroid

***The difference being that CD-key's don't limit my ability to use my paid product. I can freely lend the game to friends and family without restriction. I can even resell it, without restriction thanks to first sale doctrine.

Last time I checked if you bought a copy of Windows 7, or Photoshop, or Quicken, or any licensed PC software (unless you buy some family bundle) the codes included are one time use (for the most part).

It's pretty low, but there are no friends in business.

@Dark Witness - Well on the PC they've figured it out with "always on" drm that requires the player to have an internet connection the entire time. Is that the direction where you'd like things to go?

As much as I'd like to not admit it I see the reasons why things like online passes are in place. I think a lot of gamers have clouded vision of what they think a developer (not the publisher) gets in terms of money. Too much of it is lost and taken by the used game market. If we want this industry that we all love to succeed this is a necessary evil.

Unless you want companies to adopt some kind of 1 use disc that is worthless once played, or some kind of online DRM that ...

LOL, nvm... good save. The actual article has been edited.

Where is that anywhere in the article?

Those were unlockables in UC2, NOT DLC you paid actual money for.

Do you think this is what they listen to at Naughty Dog all day when they plan these things?

LOL sorry I had to, you were talking about getting hustled. It was too easy.

@DA_SHREDDER - That's a trolling statement if I ever heard on but I didn't want to waste a bubble replying to it. EDIT: Nevermind dude, NOW I understand what your mean. My bad.

Anyway, I think this could be huge for those of us that wanted to enjoy it on the PS3 (since it was designed with the DualShock control in mind) but didn't want to pay subscription fees. This going free to play reignintes my personal interest in the title, and I'm sure I'm not the o...

That's the most important thing really. People read a headline that they don't agree with then instantly want to abuse it.

Bubbles for you!

I agree with the writer here and it doesn't just apply to games really it's every medium. As a culture of consumers, I think we demand too much.

...and I thought it was fake. Boy do I feel dumb.

It's a western title in Japan. Just saying.

But the GTA Series has never used real life cities. It's a parody of modern day life not the recreation of it.

Sex sells, doesn't matter the industry, it just may be more prevalent in some than it is in others. When it comes to games, I, personally see them as art and the developers as the creators. If they want to make the ideal man or ideal woman, more power to them. A part of being human is finding the idea of symmetry beautiful . If designers and developers want to mold characters into the "ideal" versions of themselves I'm all for it as it will make the whole experience much eas...
