I like the idea of games like Fire Emblem Warriors, BOTW, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 have a season pass, and all focus on single player contents, not the loot box stuff. You know back then there's the thing called Expansion Pack, that it will release 3-6 months after the main game. Unlike DLC, Expansion pack doesn't have Day 1 pay to unlock stuff, lootbox credits stuff or some cosmetic item. Back then unlockables are in main games... nowadays unlockables are paid to unlock.
just because EA or games like COD scrapping single player doesn't mean they're obsolete. If they're obsolete then how come we still have single player games governing the spot of GOTY every year.... JRPG, RPG, Adventure titles still a strong genre.
- Persona series
- Final Fantasy series
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- LOZ:Breath of the Wild
- Tomb Raider series
- God of War
- and so on....
Jin: Others!!!! Others!!!!!
wow... PETA, i think they should review all the JRPG games, coz most of them has fishing sidequests...
Ryse is a good game, although I didn't play it on xbox one, since I don't have one, I've only played my crappy 4 year old pc... but still its impressive. I wish they make the sequel.
Shenmue 2 was release on Xbox, after the Dreamcast discontinued. So its fitting this game release on Xbox one.
I'm concern with gaming journalist these days.... i remember back in ps1 days, no one complaint much when they port Quake 2 to ps1 with outdated graphic, or when they port Tekken 3 into ps1 with downgraded graphics. I remember having tons of fun playing Tekken 3 on ps1 and didn't mind that blocky graphic compared to the more polygon version of arcade Tekken 3.
Ryse was good, played on steam when it was in discounted price..... I hope they make Ryse 2.
I would love to play The First Blood Omen game as remake, great storyline and of course... the soul reaver.
Golden Sun, Advance Wars, need to come back. Bravely Default 3....
no longer a rumor coz you can see this game at Eshop coming soon section,
well back in those days, the only time we get DLC on PC is like after 1 year or 1/2 year of its game release, and its packed with costumes, new game modes and new campaign mode... now we get day 1 dlc, bunch of all other crystal/coins dlc.
imagine the MGS game but with camera style of Shadowrun.... isometric top down view... kinda almost like the 1st MGS.
@Asuna, back when Naughty Dog was called JAM, they made these games.
the roster is a joke, can't even have X-men characters. might s well call it MCU vs Capcom. lock away some character under DLC. like SF5, 1 year later release the arcarde version with season pass character.
physical always exist. imagine when you face internet outage or suddenly the game server no longer in service. or when you're done playing a game, and decided to trade in to get a new game.
the joy of people lining up and grab the physical copy of a game. take all that away, what do you get?
thats only for PS1 & Ps3, PS2 & PS4 has an amazing first year in sales.
my first experience in home console is Atari 2600 at my uncle's house... but my first console, being brought home by my dad was Famicom. But of course the first console that I bought with my own money is PS1. Depending on your first console you truly own is what you buy with your own money is the one you love the most. I bought xbox when it came out, bought dreamcast, but Playstation is still my focus console. If it hadn't for RRoD on 360, I think I would've got myself the xbox on...
well, if it doesn't do anything other than being pretty, then its not difference than any figuring released out there. Lego dimension & infinity add character and stuff on the game, amiibo lets you cheat in a game. I would love to have Aloy figurine next to the giant collectors edition Aloy.
they're not dead, just some greedy company making MP games wanted to brainwash people to play more MP games... so that they can earn $$$ through microtransactions.
