He is being sarcastic because this is clearly another battle for N4G propaganda news article to try and filter out the bad Microsoft articles. It is ancient news.

Somewhat fitting, Considering buying Bethesda was a complete selfish purchasing decision by himself just because he is a big Fallout fan he wanted to own the toy. Well quite frankly Microsoft should look at that and say you put your personal tastes in front of the business and it has backfired.

Apparently the last 10 years wasn't enough to get the gaming press to notice but as soon as they touch Bethesda it is full on nuclear war. A lot of people in the gaming press seem to have this irrational hard on for Fallout and Skyrim despite the fact they are low quality poor buggy games.
I've grown tiresome of the unbalanced fandom in the gaming press for fantasy games and their ability to just forgive crap so long as it's a fantasy game RPG game all quality concerns a...

The problem is whether it is Gold or Game Pass or any similar service they all become stagnant and run out of stuff you give you. It was a foolish thing in the first place. The best model is the one that has been around since the start, buy the games you actually want to own and play. Restaurants used to do all you can eat until people found out it is just stupid when you can't eat everything or don't even want to try. It is a fake of premise making you think you are getting a bargain...

If not buying it means it comes to PlayStation then I guess I'm not buying it.

The is short so it is a double negative for Microsoft. Less likely people will double dip on it.

I'll tell you what is stunning though, the fact Microsoft are still able to sell around 350.9k consoles a month. Can there be that many brainwashed uneducated people out there? I guess I already answered my own question. :D

What is amazing is how Microsoft bombarded the gaming press with positive Game Pass articles to try clearly manipulate people into using it. It was quite something. In the end it wasn't enough as most people were smart enough to see through it. In these hard economic times the shine has started to come off Subscription Services. People know what they are losing.

I think he knows his time is up but he will do it on his own terms. Which is to say he will want to leave on some kind of game success so the short term memory folk can forget about the past 10 years and say "oh look at how great he was"

What I say is, I'm not buying anything from you or giving you any success so you can have a golden parachute. I suspect some reviewers will have that in mind too, rightly or wrongly. This is how having a person who is toxic to...

Only shaky after the past 10 years. That explains why people still buy Xbox's and I'm pretty sure there are a subset of people still buying them because they see it as the stars and stripes box and that gets blind loyalty.

Valve hasn't been a very good platform holder, how much of their vast wealth have to they put back into giving PC users Valve developed AAA games? Rather than just misplaced vanity projects.

That has basically been the plan all along. Quite frankly people in the gaming press have been cheering this along as most of them don't care about games or consumer rights, gaming journalism is just a short bridge for them to move onto something better.

It is funny that it was him finally touching Bethesda that was the straw that finally broke the camels back. They should have been calling for this years ago.

Can N4G adopt a policy of games leaving subscription services as not being a new story, it is just spam at this point.

When you say as few launchers as possible you do realize you are advocating for less stores and less stores means less competition. Why it is that everyone one PC suddenly wants socialism when it comes to entertainment?

To be fair N4G is mostly PC commentators who rank stuff in this order PC>Sony>Nintendo>Xbox . That is often reflected in comment voting.

This is just Steam being opportunistic disguised as consumer friendly, maybe Sony will wake up now.
