Kits are always sent out last minute. It's tradition!
It should be mentioned that the XBONE included specialized "move engines" to offset some of its limitations.
It was a band-aid solution, but its not negligible.
I have never seen a bullet go into one car window and come out of another with realistic shattered glass.
Incredible.
"If true this means Microsoft has blatantly lied regarding their hardware being built around both their previous digital rights management and now the Kinect requirement."
They weren't lying. They had a vision that they truly believed in, but we didn't. Now that vision is dead and they will have to scramble.
Maybe when the world is ready.
Way to go Microsoft! It not easy on the ego to do what you did, but you will be rewarded.
I hope sharing for downloaded titles only makes a return, but take your time! Keep it simple for now and add later.
It should be noted that as of now, the vita is the only way to play your PS4 on the toilet.
Thanks! I hope MS is listening :)
This is actually not their policies now, its what their policy should have been (and hopefully will be).
But man, imagine if this was true, I would buy it just for the sharing!
I very much doubt this story, I would think the ratio was much higher in Sony's favor.
In Canada, you can't find a PS4 anywhere, even non-launch day version. Lot's of xbox one's available though. Plus keep in mind there was a much larger allocation of PS4's.
You know, if they offered a core system for $399 and a deluxe kinect / interactive TV version for $499, I bet you most people would have bought the deluxe.
We just need a choice, or at least the appearance of a choice!
The ironic thing is that game sharing between 10 friends is VERY generous, and the could have been the big hero if they just said the following:
1. If you buy a disk, you can lend them, sell them... business as usual.
2. If you download a game, you can share it with 10 friends for free! Plus quick change to tv, play at friends house, etc..
3. You only need to be online if sharing a game, never for your games
That's it! Gi...
With the PS3, Sony gave us the console that Sony wanted. This time, they gave us what we wanted.
Ironically, I bet xbox's designers thought people would love their hybrid sharing system.
Now we get to fight out if MS's ego is more important than their wallets.
It's already there! (just hope there is less melee combat)
Normally I would agree but with MILLIONS of consoles being released from day one, the chances of a hardware bug is low as it would cost Sony a fortune to recall.
On the other hand, if you can wait for the first hardware revision, it will most likely be much quieter and use less energy... if that type of stuff matters to you.
Fortunately, "US" usually means "US and Canada, eh".
Wohoo!
They took a game which I believe had the most FUN controls in this generation and made it beautiful!
For those who never tried infamous give it a shot, its very under-rated.
Vita will be useful for playing your Ps4 on the toilet, which from what I understand is the Wii U's most popular but least praised feature.
Now, should Sony just have the Vita or should they be kind and release a cheaper version with just the wifi and video-decoder chips, like the Wii Pad.
They probably could release it for under $150.
Plastica-Man, I disagree.
Great programmers will always produce great work, and lazy programmers will always produce crummy work, regardless of the hardware!
Besides, why should programmers have to spend 1/2 their time optimizing rather than building new code?
AMD has been famously deemed "uninvestable".
They are doing well lately but they are drowning in debt.
