Physics and more interactions with the environment is what people wanted the most when rumors of next gen first started. May have changed tho. This community is pretty fickle.
I feel like there was more variety with the living weapon system than just having 3 yokai forms. And it could have just been because it was an alpha but the yokai form didn't really feel much stronger. I'm in wait and see mode for now.
Technically nothing is made by Nintendo. Blew my mind to find out they don't any of the studios they work with most.

Started appealing a bit more to casuals and adding visual flair that makes it more entertaining to watch at tournaments.
I'm with you on getting to see all the different types of bioweapons. RE5 had some really fun co-op but the complete lack of horror and cutscenes that rivaled The Matrix left a bad taste in my mouth. I liked the gore in RE6 and Leon and Ada's campaigns.
I've actually always liked when ppl use Son¥. Gives them each there own identity.

MH games always got updates in the form of new releases that largely played the same with tweaks to the gameplay and presentation so I see where he's coming from.
I plan to next time but not for nothing. I've bought a console for 1 game before and only played about a handful of other games after it. MS has to really sell me on some good games before I do that again.
