Yep E3 jumped this game over Dragon Age for my October purchase.
Really looking forward to it.
Well if this is true, no chance I buy it as I'll be headlong into Destiny and Shadow of Mordor with Far Cry 4 and a shooter coming.
Remasters are perfect for the summer months when there's nothing so this is a bit of a disappointment if true.
Although according to rumors, this game should release sometime between Friday and the end of time.
To be fair, it's one guy running around a map by himself.
It does look awful similar but let's wait until we see it in action rather than rush to judgement.
Ironic, isn't it?
Hopefully they both bring new takes to the FPS and especially the tired modern war FPS (remember when we were saying this about WW2 games)
To be fair, this doesn't look too run of the mill. The only other game it reminds me of (besides Battlefield itself) is Payday which I've never played. I've heard it's a hell of a time though.
I'm deciding between this game and Dragon Age on the same day. I'm really liking the look of this though, I'm just hoping it stays that way and the nemesis system actually works.
Most of the time these "innovative" features are just fluff (i.e. Watch Dogs)
I'm trying to save money and then they go and do this.
I'm so tempted to get ME Trilogy for 10 bucks and Far Cry 3 for 7.50.
I played that game a good 30 hours (which is a lot for me) on my PS3. If I knew the online was populated and not full of people way too good or that only play the game, I would seriously think about getting it again.
It was a great deal of fun.
US
Nothing. This happens literally at every developer known to the world.
The core 343 staff will be there unless they move on or are not performing but thye always staff up and down.
I remember EA, Epic, Bethesda, Bioware, etc. doing this before.
Well I can get that because they're special editions or different versions but you're essentially trading in for the same exact system. I'm not saying it's not a good deal and if they let you do it, so be it but they have to have something in the system that keeps you from doing it or some policy.
If not, I'll be there tomorrow night to trade it in. All I'm playing right now on it is Peggle 2 (which is great btw). I can do without it for a week.
This seems beyond shady....I don't know how Gamestop would go for this because they ask you what you're trading the system in for.
How on earth would they keep a straight face when you trade in your xbox one towards an xbox one. Has anyone actually done this?
Holy....I think the first Lost Odyssey was one of the best games of last generation. I would love to see a Lost Odyssey 2.
Going to be refreshing a lot on Tuesday.
I completely agree but I will definitely want Halo (whichever one comes out this year) and Quantam Break plus then Gears and the other Halo and Sunset Overdrive.
Like I said, verys hooter heavy and I hope they come out with some interesting IPs that are other genres.
I tried to wait until Halo but I played the beta for Titanfall and that's all she wrote so to speak
And I'm still gonna buy one for Titanfall, Halo, Quantam Break and Susnet Overdrive.....yep, shooter machine but it will go nicely with my PS4.
I think this will be a great compliment if not taking over as the main FPS game with Battlefield 4 for me. I have concerns it could get boring quickly but I feel like Respawn still hasn't shown us everything. Why would they when they have this much hype over what they've shown?
I'm planning on buying a xbox one and Titanfall next month, gotta have this with my surround sound and tv.
Give it a shot. I fell in love with the game after I played it.
The movement and ability to wall run, mantle and get up high in a hurry is a blast. It does have some COD tendencies but you don't have to play it like that necessarily.
Graphics aren't everything especially in a MP game. Id ont' want to be playing the first Quake out there graphics wise but Titanfall is plenty pretty as far as I'm concerned
can officially preorder this on steam. wanted to make sure there weren't more delays
The concept sounds interesting but the demo at E3 left me completely uninterested. Here's hoping they've got some time to spice it up a bit. The beta could help calm some of my fears too.
