You fail to realize I don't hate the PS3 like MART does. I actually wouldn't mind having one and I also want a 360. But seeing as how I'm not made of money the 360 is what I will be getting. You PS3 fanatics need to realize that your system isn't the only one on the market nor is it superior to the rest...same with the 360. It's just a game system (with apparently forced movie formats but that's another topic). The 360 is a game systme that happens to have more of the games I like to play...
First off, I'm not denying that most of that is true. You're right the PS3 can do most of that stuff but lets look at it logically point by point (sorry this might take up some space).
1. HD Drive - not in the 360 no but I can use my computer via the DATEL SATA hard drive thing (not sure of the actual name look it up it exists)
2. HDMI - doesn't really matter if you don't have a 1080p tv and if you do...more power ot you but Microsoft can do it too without HDMI

Every console since the beginning of time (except Wii cause Nintendo is smart and crafty) has lost money. Companies don't make their money on the console they make it off of the games bought for the console. Plus, the 360 doesn't cost anywhere near as much as the PS3 will. So honestly, Sony will lose more you just don't know it.
A few of those videos were great and a few weren't for me. I honestly don't know who will win. Blu-ray may have 500,000 players in the market with the PS3s but depending on how many people buy the add on Microsoft could have over 3 million. You guys are aruging over an interface!!!! The thing you see for less than 3 minutes before you play a game. Seriously who cares!! I plan on getting a 360 not for the blade menu system but for the games. If you want to pointlessly argue about something at least argue about the games or the consoles power or something that may in some distant land of some point to it.
I actually got a Samsung 19" Syncmaster MW widescreen, hd/tv ready, tv/monitor for 360$ i love it. It's got every connection except hdmi and only one of all the other connections but I don't need more than one. I reccommend it because it is cheap but still hd and beautiful when the 360 is hooked up.

I don't know...I'm kinda skeptical about rts games on consoles with the glorious failures of the past. The trailer looks amazing and if it's done right this game could be amazing and a must-have. I have high hopes and it probably won't be as good as halo 3 or gow or assassins creed but it could definitly turn out to be a game to play right behind the before-mentioned three.
Double Agent will still come out on both 360 and PS3. It's the next splinter cell that will be exclusive to 360 not this one.
Honestly, I wish more games would be multi-platform so we can stop all this pointless arguing. Wow...I never would have imagined a Japanese company's console selling better in Japan than in the US. 360 is an American and mostly European owned console (maybe more so after Sony's delay) and the PS3 is a predominatly Japanese owned console (which explains the Japan-only price drop. But they have said that you can run 1080p with their software update over the component cables and it looks just as good as with the hdmi cable.
