"Meulen said that items like clothing, furniture and other knickknacks can be unlocked and also rewarded through other external games. Games can communicate with Home, so if you beat, for example, God of War 3, maybe you'll unlock a Kratos t-shirt in Home to wear. These sorts of possibilities are definitely exciting because this gives developers another avenue to not only promote their products but give gamers a little bonus for playing their games."

Well realistically his head would be popping up with that view. If they made it so you were properly covered, and couldn't see anything, people would no doubt complain how flawed the cover system would be hahahaha.

Second Life is too confusing.

I hope Home is a simple to use thing.

Yes its a good idea. To say that it will not eventually become mainstream is short sighted.

Those values would reflect better if we consider the ps2 penetration. In some countries, the PS2 is still fairly new and 'hot' and have only recently become affordable. I'm talking about countries that are not as fortunate as ours obviously.

In europe and Australia, they discontinued the 60gb and eventually the 80gb to release the 40gb which had no backwards compat, 2 usb, and no media slots.

Now they are phasing that out, and bringing back the same thing but with 80gb for the same price.

So I missed out on backwards compat. since I picked up the 40gb setup.

HDD was never a concern.

Despite Microsoft making a big thing out of Direct Downloads, I feel they forget that Sony is just as able to implement those features. Even the PSN Video network has similar potential if not more than the LIVE video service. Sony is an Entertainment brand first, and a console producer second. I wouldn't be surprised if they had access to more media seeing that they themselves produce it.

However, its more important how fast these things gets shipped out and it seems that MS has ...

If I had some cash lying around I'd buy it. I missed the PS2 boat and my PS3 doesn't have backwards compat.

Funny thing is, I've bought the PS2 games that I wanted to play for my ps3 b4 I got my ps3.... But the ps3 I wanted never came to Australia >.>.

Luckily I've been able to play the majority comfortably with an emulator. As uncomfortable as it makes me feel for admitting that.

That said, I look at VGcharts as the best I got for smaller countries. I'd like to see Australian numbers - so I dont look at NPD values with much thought.

Then again, I dont give VGcharts more than a grain of salt, because they are estimates anyways.

I like it when sony doesn't make promises, and just DOES things.

Harder for competitors to react as well.

Those things are movies and tv shows I thought?

I thought those limits applied to games and such?

I really have no idea how the live system works tbh.

I dont doubt that LIVE is more than capable of hosting Burnout Paradise on its network. I just wonder if Microsoft are willing to bend their policies to do it.

As we all know how the responded to other developers that wanted to get features in and couldnt.

edit: Well if microsoft...

I doubt its a question of the live services being capable of doing it.

It is a question of whether Microsoft is willing to bend their policies to null the advancement of PSN.

Look i've read your comments and such on both zones. You may or may not be right. Either ways, what you feel is yet confirmed.

I honestly think you need to settle down. You are getting fairly angsty hahahah

This is how pricing should be Sony, Polyphony Digital!

If you are releasing a Disc version and a Downloads version. I DAMN WELL expect the Download version to be cheaper!
