like i said in my previous post, i dont think sitting on a couch automatically means that natal cant read you
i just think that its a depth problem and the reason this setup doesnt work is because peoples couches are too far from the camera for it to work
for all we know it could work perfectly fine if you were to sit on a chair right in front of your tv, like 3 feet away - not that its the ideal situation but im sure it would work
of course it wont, no one wants to play gears standing up
if youve seen the actual depth maps, youd know that this type of technology has depth issues when youre too far from the camera meaning the camera cant see you at all
if youve seen all the footage of people playing with kinect - most people's couches arent that close to their tvs
so unless you want to move youre couch forward every time youre not playing and back every time you are, there could be problems
