what youre seeing connected to the ps3 is basically a slim ps2 except half the size because they can take out the dvd drive, all the power connectors, usb slots, controller slots, memory card slots, and whatever else that can already be provided by the ps3

even though i laugh at wii motion control games, part of the reason games such as this dont have "1:1" is because of the character attached to it, which is why you see games like sports champions table tennis not feature a character attached
its also why you see virtua tennis 4 with one of the weirdest camera setups ever for move

actually no its not more difficult, its actually a lot easier to skimp out on any hard work when you just tell the people that bought your game that the reason it runs so crappy on their hardware is because their hardware isnt from 5 years in the future, good luck doing that on console
