im mainly an Xbox gamer (my preference) but i do own both platforms and this year easily goes too sony. Ive bought 2 PS3 exclusives this year an no Xbox exclusives, although i have bought my mulitplats on it. In 2010 its anybodys games, Sony has a lot of games in Dev and MS still gotta get sumert big from Rare, Epic and then Bungie with Reach.

Sony because they do not charge for online force the Dev to pay for their own servers on an external network such as gamespy. my main issue with people who describe games as violent is the fact i see worse violence in films that are given critical acclaim and patted on the head. any updates or new features are great although the article used the word "premium" when talking about an update too PSN which usualy translates to "costs money". Still i happily pay for XBL and will happily pay for PSN if the features are worth it. can anyone speculate as too what it means by "unlimited downloads" cos im sure we can technically do that now or would this include the ability to download as many PSN games as we want for a monthly/yearly price?
that there are hackers in 1vs100 but the video is proof neither way. Ive had plenty of messgaes from people who say they are hackers and i know people who pretend to work for Infinityward and other companies online just to mess with the other people playing and threaten them with bans for trivial things just to play with thier heads. In the uk ive seen people with as low as 100GS playing and some with 50,000GS+ playing the one or the Mob. Time will tell if people are hacking this.
and i doubt ODST will make it to download as MS said they had no plans to place new release games on the demand service at this time. Although ODST may eventually make it in the future
The KZ2 campaign on my first playthrough only lasted me 5hours. I know this (as im sure youre aware) because the game gives you a stat page of how long you have played the campaign for and after my first playthrough i checked and found myself too of completed it in just under 5hours. ODST's campaign is going to last at least that long. So i do not get your comment about the game been as long as a demo or DLC

the games on demand price is too high and until they drop i will still buy physical copies. Im a big fan of the Digital download idea and it is the future for all media (ISP willing) but charging this much for games i can pick up cheaper is not the right way to do it even if i am promised i can always redownload and will always have a perfect copy, its just too high.
I love HD, i mean i really love HD but if the Devs say they can get more from my platforms without me noticing to a great deal that im not in HD i would be happy as long as the Xbox's HD upscaler still takes effect. I couldnt stand either the NXE or the XMB in SD though, they just look nasty.
M$ promised games without controllers not FPS without contollers. COD and Halo will still be played like they are today and if Natal ever makes it into an FPS or any genre that does require the use of a pad, it will be slight and you may only use Natal to give orders or talk to squad mates.

Lars barkin confirmed that the ODST disc has been designed to run smoother with an install but it is not neccesary to play the game. The Halo 3 disc in the set still has the same multiplayer issuse with the install.
M$ are not pushing the install model on devs at all. Its an option that a dev can take if they feel thier game would benefit from doing it. I only install games i play large amounts as to keep disc damage to a minimum. Past that i notice very little difference in the speed at which most games load in exception to Mass effect which looses a lot of the texture pop in but now Mass effect 2 has solved those issues without install.
We cannot prove either way if M$ would force installs or not if all xbox's came with Hard Drives but the fact is currently they do not but offer the option and i back them as a consumer in that choice.
edit- in the future gens i do expect M$ to back the install method though which is a shame as im not a fan of forced installs and they are not needed. Look at UC2, all without an install
i believe that is likely the reason as Sony dont have any matchmaking servers to give to Capcom for use with the demo. Capcom would have too set up some servers and pay for them themselves, which doesn't make sense unless you have a n income of cash from people playing the game.
