People need to try and not be so defensive. This isn't a MS vs Sony debate. COD4 and KZ2 are both available on the PS3 and owners can have a preference. I think the key distinction is that bringing KZ2 into the debate was actually flattering and was simply to say "hey, graphics are amazing on KZ2* but, in my personal opinion I enjoy COD4". I'd agree with those lambasting KZ2's involvement here if it was COD4 on the Xbox 360 exclusively but its not plus its a debate about graphics! ...
Massive overeaction. The guy simply drew reference to KZ2 because the article is about graphics and KZ2 is seen as a pinacle of this at present. He then makes a valid point that alot of people prefer COD4 to, the very good by all accounts AND GRAPHICALLY SUPERIOR, KZ2. Big deal. You obviously prefer KZ2, thats ok!

Whats with the championing of the late adopters? Why are they more important than those who paid the initial, high retail price for the system and paid premium rates for the software? At the end of the day late adopters get a cheaper system and a massive back catalogue of games to dip into and keep them entertained for years.
I for one am still enjoying my 360 but give it 2 years and I'd be more than ready for a new system.
I think N4G needs to review its "Gamer Zone". Especially when people are saying "f*ck the 360".

I'm not sure if this is actually going to go to the PS3 in the first place but great news if so. Im a 360 owner but I have to admit I'm happy to see it go to the PS3 as its been kicking around for a long time and its a great game which deserves to be played by all.
Bought a 360 at launch then traded it in for an elite a year later. No problems on either system. I appreciate the problem is there for others but I find the guys who spout lies about multiple personal rrod ( i.e 3+) pathetic in the extreme.
On another note, as a gamer who has in the past purchased an Amiga 500, Mega Drive, Snes, Dreamcast,PS2, N64, and Xbox in the 360 i can honestly say that this company has provided me one of the best gaming platforms I've ever experienced.
1) Xbox has a mass of great games to tide owners over for the start of the year.
2) Judging by the holiday season console sales the 2009 lineup is not of concern to the average consumer at present.
3) Microsoft has already delivered a massive catalogue of great games and I'm sure itll have more in 2009. I've already been given value for money up to now
4) If Sony deliver on its promised games then i'll buy a Playstation 3- happy days either way!

End of the day everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I for one things Gears 2 is a fantastic game. My only gripe is with the online matchmaking system which leaves who twiddling your thumbs waiting for a game. That said, whilst online play has a steep learning curve, its has amazing depth and I'm getting more and more engrossed. I'd give it 9.5
All 3 consoles have been really successful now. Nuff said.
You cant actually make a balanced comment on here without getting several disagree's for not following Sony's lead. Microsoft and the 360 have done great this generation and are continuing to do so, deal with it. Its not spin.
Just because EA has bought Bioware it doesnt mean that any pre-standing agreements with MS are void. If MS had an agreement that ME was to remain 360/PC exclusive and an option to do so for the rest of the trilogy EA couldnt change that. However, this is just speculative as such agreements may never be in place. To be honest, im happy enough for the PS3 to get ME as long as we get some titles coming the other way.
It annoys me how PS3 fans keep moaning about how MS is some sort of Exclusive stealing boogeyman. At present there are more 360s in homes than PS3's. (yes, i know the latter is catching up) It therefore makes sense to bring previous exclusives to the 360 as developers want their product to be available to as many people as possible and increase their chances of high returns. Look, the 360 has sold a bucketload of consoles and is still doing so. Its been a great success especially when you consider its up against an institution like Nintendo and the Playstation brand. I think the PS3 will overtake the 360 around the last quarter of 09. That being said, all 3 companies have had a good run this gen. Lets stop bashing.

Why are people so upset that its going to the 360? Its pathetic and shows them to be the fanboys they are. You've got lots of other games in the pipeline such as Resistance, Little Big Planet etc. Can you not just be happy that you get to share the same experience with other gamers? Square Enix is a business, if Sony hasn't paid for an exclusivity deal then why shouldnt it try to maximise its profits? Just get over it and stop being unbelievably childish.
