I whole heartedly agree with your comments. Particularly the acknowledgement of this perverse "elitist attitude" when, as you've stated, none of these PS3 fanboys have any intellectual property regarding the system.
I live in the UK and, generally speaking, the prices for a basic model are as follows-
XBOX - £150
PS3- £250
The bottom line is the Xbox is 40% cheaper. If you want to add £50 for a wireless adapter and £40 for Xbox Live then its approximately the same. However, I'm not sure if alot of parents would appreciate that whilst some buyers may not be interested in online gaming altogether.

This will benefit developers as future games will be bought rather than pirated. Whats so complicated? Presumably anyone buying a new 360 will have been compelled to do so because they want to buy new games as well. Microsft is not the bad guy in this.
The game itself is absolutely brilliant but I'm now getting really tired of the same old maps. I now know where to head for on each one to give me the best possible chance of alot of kills and it gets repetitive.I think another 2 maps were needed to keep things constantly fresh. Still a good game though.
First of all, Fifa 2010 came out first. I think you need to look at sales for this game on the 360 before you make judgements on "where football belongs" console wise.

I didn't really enjoy the terrorism level at all. I'm not precious about these sorts of things, nor do I link vg's to violence, but i found the mission a bit obsecene. This is regardless of being over or under age. I dont think the storys objective (oh we need to infiltrate this group) really justified it.

I think it was evident in single player, but you can turn it off.

Whether you like it or not, prefer GT or Halo or not, the Halo franchise is a far bigger entity than GT. I mean, its smashed sales records all over the place, Peter Jackson was linked with directing a Halo film, there are umpteen spin offs and multitudes of different merchandise. What does GT have?

First of all, I completely appreciate that the PS3 seems to have alot of good games coming out at the moment. However, what I have major umbrage with is those of you saying MW2 will be a poor game! This will be absolutely fantastic, multiplat or not, and why don't you just be honest and accept that alot of you will find this game in your collection. I really hope they just ditch all this track nonsense and have a 1km road with lots of different walls of different materials/densities. Say a brick wall then a wood one followed by a few sandbags. I think using the Halo brand as the entry point for Natal will be brilliant. MS knows that it'll produce alot of market penetration for the hardware and I very much doubt a game, with so much importance placed on it and already a good track record, will fail.
Having a game available on the 360 AND PC is a positive for Microsoft. Whilst people can argue semantics about what "exclusive" means, Microsoft is simply opening up more revenue streams and making more money which, ultimately, can enable further support and development for Microsoft Studios.

Graphics wise my opinion (360 owner) is this-
If two developers have infinite time and resource to create a game on both PS3 and 360 the former version will be graphically superior.
The PS3 is a more advanced (dare I say more expensive) piece of hardware and should produce more visual potential.
