This is for parents that want kids to have access to funds but have control over them.
Personally I wouldn’t ever use this and my kids don’t have access to anything like that. Normally I gift them credit to spend or just gift them the games they want.

If the internal WiFi card isn’t faulty then it’s an issue with your settings on the console or router.
Google your make of router and Xbox and looks up what settings to change. I had a Netgear router that wouldn’t keep a connection to Xbox it everything else was fine. It’s been some years so I don’t remember what I actually changed.
Dropping connection isn’t a normal thing on any platform and could be something that’s easily fixed from home.
Make sure you look into getting Gamepass for as cheap as possible. If you don’t currently have an active GPU subscription then buy anything up to 36 months of Xbox Gold from CDKeys or the cheapest place in your region before converting into GPU.

It’s always going to be a gimmick on any platform but there’s PS5 owners that would like it on Xbox aswell as people that don’t own a PS5
The only downside would be a potential price increase on the Xbox Controller apart from that there’s no issue as it can be disabled willingly and there’s nothing stopping people using older or last gen controllers.
I still don’t see it happening and certainly not anytime soon.
This isn’t a public problem, only an issue some insiders got which they should know there’s a chance of problems. They should also now how to navigate basic problem solving. No ones console gets damaged or loses any save data.
The problem is Xbox let’s any idiot join the insiders program. They sign up and don’t commit anything back to the programme, when there’s an issue they assume the console is broken and start panicking.
Don’t buy it yet, there’s bugs that stop you from completing levels which means no loot or progress made as you have to quit and start again. Keep an eye out for updates before pulling the trigger on this one.
The Studio that’s most likely to use fixes camera angles, I’m excited for this to be a possibility vs having a first person view game.
Bloober didn’t try to make Silent Hill but I’m happy for them to give it a go now.

PS+ got the Ultimate edition of control added to the subscription. PS4 players who owned the game did not. This is different see?

This is a FREE next gen update. If this was on games with gold then it wouldn’t cost anything for the next gen version. The article didn’t need to mention gamepass but it just so happens its on gamepass now. It’s a free next gen upgrade🤷♂️ Sony makes that difficult here.

It’s not just PS+ though is it? It’s the way Sony's infrastructure with the store and console is.

There’s nothing more to say other then the success or failure of this game isn’t going to change much.
I’m gobsmacked at the level of defending from some people and now they’re worrying about a game they wasn’t going to buy or play anyway.
No but the Xbox One X version has a higher res then the PS4 Pro versions so point would still stand. Even if there was Ps5 version it’s unlikely to have been much different to the Series X version.
I wouldn’t get too triggered over specs on this game, it’s hardly a big budget game. I’m just glad it’s going to release rather then be cancelled as it had a rocky start with funding.
