I haven't seen anything about DLSS, frame generation etc anywhere yet. Doesn't bode well.

What a load of shit. Creative decision.... suuuuuuuuure mate. Just admit they can't optimise their game enough to hit a solid 60fps.

Pretty low move using the war to try and push the deal. But I'd expect no less from Microsoft.

In the end it's subjective to the user, but the last two years of Xbox finally made me sell my Series X and move back to PC, while keeping my PS5 for exclusives.

I have particular tastes in games, mainly the big Sony first party style games. Xbox has given me none of that. Game Pass gave me like two games in two years I bothered to finish. Anything else I'd be into came to game pass too late, I'd already played it. The Xbox ecosystem just gave me no reason to st...

I've only played an hour and a half so far and it's already exceeding my expectations.

As someone who games on a 4K OLED tv and finds resolution/frame rate important, I can't stand the Switch. I don't play mine at all. Been gathering dust a long time (although Nintendo also doesn't make many game I want to play these days either).

I've turned to emulating the few games I want to play on my PC. BotW at 4K/60fps is transformative. It sucks a game like that is locked to such weak hardware. Wish they'd do PC releases. Would happily purchase th...

Of course it will go up. The current pricing is just to get more people into the Xbox ecosystem seeing as they were so far behind (it's working). Guaranteed they aren't making the profit per subscriptions they eventually plan to, but it's something they can deal with being part of a trillion dollar company.

It's not coincidence they went with a subscription service like game pass after pushing it for other products like Microsoft Office. They make more money...

I get reviews are subjective, but even at that level I just can't believe a 10/10 score.

I was literally being put to sleep trying this game out on PC. The game is full of so much empty, pointless space. Dull, obtuse, monotonous.

Honestly, the atmosphere looks great, but I can't think of a game I've found more boring to actually play.

I own all platforms and have recently gone to PC as my main platform. Having said that, in the console space, PlayStation is currently my preferred by far (it was Nintendo as a kid with the NES to N64, then PS2 was my preferred, then 360 was my preferred and now PS4 and then PS5 are my preferred).

As much as I prefer PlayStation now, it does feel like they've lost something. A sense of fun is the big one. They also seem to have forgotten so many legacy franchises. Strea...

Have Nathan take on the Sully role while his daughter Cassie goes on her first proper adventure.

Now that it's been patched a lot, it's a 'decent' game. Nothing special. Nothing mind blowing. It's not even close to the 'next generation of open world RPGs' they promised it would be with a huge list of missing features they talked about being in the game in blogs and interviews.

Add trying to cover up last gen performance before launch and they haven't yet done enough to warrant my praise.

They went from an industry leading studio in the N64 days to just a footnote in gaming history under Microsoft/Xbox.

Gamecube for me. Which funnily enough was the last console of theirs I actually enjoyed.

I wish they'd completely revamp it. It's a big, blocky, ugly design.

And I think that's why Game Pass just doesn't get the types of games day one i'm really into. 'One and done' high quality third person action adventure games are exactly what i'm into and game pass doesn't really get those until much later.

The worst console I ever purchased was the Xbox One, followed by the Wii U. I actually used my Wii U during its lifespan more than I did the Xbox One.

So far the PS5 has been up there as one of the best consoles I've owned. Probably because the games it has had so far have suited my tastes really well. The first couple years of PS5 has had more PlayStation games I've been into than the PS4 did in its first couple of years (even though PS4 was the console that swayed...

Based on my experiences with Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim and Fallout 4, I assume a few things.

- It'll be a really good game overall (bugs aside) and will have a big scope.

- Graphically it'll be decent, not amazing. Modders will make this a much better looking game over time.

- It'll be buggy. Some quests won't be able to be completed until they fix the bugs. Modders will make it a much better game over time.

NEVER encountered a bug? You must be incredibly lucky. Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout 4 and Skyrim are some of the buggiest games I've ever played (even though they're still amazing games).

Skyrim especially I encountered at least 3 or 4 bugs that completely stopped quest progress and needed PC cheats/hacks to get around at the time.

I will say their animation systems often leave a lot to be desired though.

I agree they make great...

I liked the ending. Open ended for you to decide what happened for yourself. Otherwise they would have had to add this long winded cut scene showing what happens to both the cat and the robot society and I don't think that would have fit with the rest of the game.

I really wish they'd remake Return to Castle Wolfenstein from the ground up. Easily the best of them all.
