@limewax

Yes the card with the most memory NOW has 4GB. Who knows in 1-2 years? Look at how fast tablets and smartphones get more and more memory. Memory is not that expensive these days, all PC-builders know. High-end gaming PC's have 12GB +++ ram.
And 3-way SLI or Crossfire.

IF this indeed is the PS4, the CELL is the part that seems like a stretch to me. RAM is not unrealistic, if the 360/PS3 had a couple of gigs of RAM they could do SOOO much m...

Actually looks nice and like a lot of fun! When is it out?

Give me PS4 already xD

It will be interesting to see how far they can push the DX9-level visuals though.

SWEET finally a game where I can play as the army from my Country (Norway). Global warfare...seems interesting! They are going head to head with Cryteks F2P Warface perhaps?

Good read! Can't wait to shoot those Xenomorphs... or be one!

Agreed, actually.

Would be awesome if the GPU part supported Dynamic V-sync and the new Anti-aliasing from nVidia (what's it called again - FXAA? TXAA?)

ATI is great, but wouldn't it be more awesome if the PS4 got a GPU from Nvidia again - which now can do amazing Anti-aliasing with little performance impact! Aliasing is definitely an issue in games.

Oh and Adaptive V-sync could avoid stuttering in games :

I'm really looking forward to this game, hope it scares me xD

Love the lighting! Looks sharp and detailied, nice. Hope this game turns out great! Not sure if I should get the PS3 or PC version... or both ^^

LOL I'm braindead, sorry guys =P

Why is Halo 4 on this list? In the screenshots of Halo ODST vs Halo 4, the only clear difference is a different design on the suits which do look somewhat sharper.
That's my honest opinion anyway.

Of course Kepler will be more powerful - when they are availible ;-)

Woooha, people, hold your horses, ok?

Just because Wii U might support the Unreal Engine 4, does it mean that it will run it in 1080p maxed out? No.

Will the next Xbox or Playstation run the UE4 maxed out? Not likely.

As with UE3 (Samaritan demo), you need a kick-ass PC (with 3x Geforce GTX 580's if I remember correctly) to run it smoothly maxed out.
Let's remember Gears or Batman, which looks much sharper, has more details an...

@gamingdroid

I can see your point, however when they decided to support 1080p there were ZERO HDTV's out there...almost. And just look now. Millions of TV's sold every year.

So I have to disagree with you, people will buy 4K displays, just like 10million people will probably buy "the New iPad" this year, just because of higher resolution.

4458d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

Come on, the article says 4K VIDEO support.. not 4K games.
I have hopes for 4K video support, 1080p games at 60FPS and of course they need a lot of cores to make this happen.

It will be interesting to see which GPU solution they end up with. I mean if they put in something equivalent to an i7, the CPU part is more than powerful enough, it would really depend on amount (and speed) of RAM and how many cores/how powerful the GPU part will be.
