Agreed, It's gonna be nice to play it in 1080p lag free (unlike the PS3 version).
I wouldn't mind the upgrading to the UE4, but I highly doubt that they have - then they should at least do it for PC and PS4.
This is actually a pretty interesting restult, if PC-advisor voters are from the US. In the US the 360 has been ahead, so this signals a change perhaps.

Dear Rageanitus, it seems like you have not read as many articles about this like I have. And I mean tech-analysis and official HW specs articles.
1) While the CPU/GPU/"APU" in both consoles are from AMD, they already know that the PS4 has 18 unified Compute units, vs the Xbox One's 12.
However, I'm not sure actual clock-speeds for the chips in any system are official.
2) The architecture is similar to a PC but not LIKE a PC...
Does PAL/NTSC even excist these days? Doesn't those terms belong to the time before HDTV (DVB etc)?

I get the feeling that the GPU part announced on the PS4 is kind of vague for a reason, maybe they ARE in fact waiting to see what Microsoft brings so they could tweak it a little bit.
What Sony has said is that it's a "1.84 TFLOPS, AMD next-generation "Radeon" based graphics engine". Clockspeed? I feel like there are a lot of details missing/not announced yet here..
However, most likely both consoles are already finished..
Maybe I should make my own website and write some new leaked specs as well, so you can eat more popcorn! ;)

I tried the beta a few matches and got completely destroyed. That's ok, however, it wasn't like when I've tried other shooter betas...you know..like..FUN?
Should I give it another go or is this game disappointing?

Yes, Gears 3 looks very good. But do you REALLY mean that it is on pair with Crysis 2, Uncharted 2/3, Battlefield 3 or The Last of Us and Beyond: Two souls?
It definitely looks great. One of the best? hmm..
it's just got that "oh this is obviously a UE3 game"-feel to it..maybe that ruins it for me.
I hope we won't see that so clearly with UE4.

STILL; I'm excited to see if the next generation will turn out like this generation; I think we can agree that Unreal Engine 3 did not end up as the best looking engine for PS3/Xbox 360.

All in all it is VERY close to that of a high-end PC, which is impressive!
I don't know why, but in some of the screens the PC version uses (volumetric?) fog in the background, which is taxing, but at the same time relieves it from drawing the actual background (in the PS4 version you can see out the open door).
And the lighting seems very different in some screens - why?
I know, bad teeth, and no tounge?
