I said the same thing about Grand Turismo 1...how will it get any better than this?!
Well, it always gets better my friend. I can't wait to see what the future holds for gaming.
It's in Tempe, AZ.
@iistuii - top of the cards from both camps run hot as hell under load. My 580 SLi run hot as hell but that's to be expected under a load. One camp might run slightly cooler from time to time but it ain't enough to swap over...
@ CODF - I've been an AMD supporter since their Thunderbird CPUs when you used a lead pencil to overclock them. I recently changed to the Nvidia camp because of these partnerships and programs. AMD/ATi offered the best bang for the buck and sometimes still do. But it means nothing if the games you play aren't optimized to run on your system. I got tired of seeing lesser nvidia systems crushing mine...
@ chickey - History has proven itself in the past. MadCow is correct.
Yes I blame Nvidia - they were the first to start these partnerships. TWIMTBP project...
@ Doctor Jones - I mean I had ever setting possible maxed out. I'm that person when I build a "monster" computer ($2500 at the time), I expect to be able play the most beautiful games with every setting known to man.
I was unsuccessful...even with an highly overclocked liquid cooled system. ...yeah.
I would pick this up on PC but Witch 2 on Ultra settings caused my SLi 580s to overheat and crash my computer. My cards were like "We not ready~~~". I'm playing it safe this time around and picking up the PS4 version.
I'm bothered by this subliminal message that went down here. Their debut trailer has Scorpion beating SubZero...
I could be looking way into this...
When she gasped, I lost it. LMMFAO!
This isn't even ViewSonic's gaming monitor. 14ms response time?!?! Thier VX52 has 2ms response time. I think this site has made a mistake...
@ Wizard King - that is not a true statement. Like nutcracker said 9700-9800. Actually ATi slaughtered Nvidia card starting with the 9500 and 9500pro cards.
Be it TWIMTBP or Gameworks - this has been going on for years from Nvidia. Especially back when I was a hardcore PC gamer w/ AMD hardware. I would get upset with developers because they were not taking the balanced approach and developing for both cards.
In all honesty, looking at things now, the cards are so close in performance, its only the "small" things like PhysX/etc that if the card maker doesn't help the dev, it won't be implemented.
...
This is BF4 meets Rainbow Six! I've been waiting for a new Rainbow Six Vegas for ages...this is about as close to it as I'll get but I'll take it...
*well Rainbox Six cracked out. lol
@Eonjay - Mark said all of this months leading up to release of the PS4. I'm excited to see what the PS4 will become at the end of it's lifespan.
I'm a little older so my gaming started with the Atari 2600. My top 5 will differ than most.
1. Sega Dreamcast
2. PS 1 (some of the best jrpgs during it's reign)
3. Sega Master System
4. Turbo Graphx 16 w/cd - SNES
5. NES ( would probably rank higher if I didn't have to work so hard to play the games. ie, alcohol and q-tips, two cartridges in the slot and so on).
I placed the most hours on my PS1 but my favorite system was the Dreamcast. I'm still waiting for the dualshock to get a mini LCD screen in the middle of the controller.
WCCFtech is a very reputable site for computer hardware reviews and such. I just didn't know they started reviewing video games...
While I pre-ordered this game - I thought it was going to be one of those overhyped games...UNTIL I saw the second video.
Now I'm amp'd!
I think I got motion sickness.
