As the PS3 is already capable of playing the 200GB Blu-Ray disks. All that is required is a firmware update to initiate the feature.

What does it matter? You don't want to mix your console and media player? Less space and less additional things to buy. How can this not be a plus for anyone interested in high def?

All these websites giving perfect ratings is getting out of hand. I've been gaming since '85 and I can't recall any game getting perfect scoring. Now this year alone every game that comes out is getting 10/10. Yes I'm exaggerating...but thats how it feels. There is no way so many of the flawed games are getting perfects...AC, Halo, CoD4 and the list goes on. These games are fun. But by no means are they perfect 10/10 or 5/5 or 100%.
Your HDD breaks. I just don't get it... Why would people spend money for media to place on a HDD? Every HDD is doomed to fail sooner or later. I've been blessed with my 74gig Raptors in Raid 0 to have not failed yet in 4 yrs but it's only a matter of time.

dude isn't lying. Yes it is more the pain in the buttcheeks for me to send things in to have them repaired. Call me lazy or whatever, but after being on this earth for 30 years, I have used a warranty twice. If my game system of all things died upwards of 2 times, I'ld probably throw it in the trash. All of Whoelse's list are AAA titles. Yes there are other games coming out but those are pretty much all have the potential to be system seller, if they are done properly.
PS. Whoelse whenever making a list of games to show off the PS3 do not add Wipeout HD. By no means is that a triple A title.
But what if they are saying Xbox 360 and the Wii! I can see it now...you have to duck behind the couch and snipe over top. I'm not going to get to excited until they say a confirmed PS3 release. HD-DVD isn't leading in anything. Understand the break down..."standalone players". This is purely PR stats that attempt to trick the uninformed. This isn't about Joe Consumer. Joe Consumer only cares about if the game looks good and it is fun to play...that's it. The hardcore gamer wants to know the true technical aspects. Would I like to know if the game performs and is rendered at what is depicted on the back of the box? Heck yeah! I love to know the technical advancements made over the previous generation of games. I don't wish to be misled/lied to thinking I'm getting a Nissan Skyline when in reality I'm getting only the Sky...

I know exactly what your talking about. I could not get Windows Media Player 11 to work with the PS3 at all. I figured it was something Microsoft did to the player for it not to work. So I had to do a little searching...and I found this.
