Fact of the matter is, Macs do tend to have faster FSB speeds in their motherboards, which helps to avoid bottlenecking the CPU. For example, the Mac Pro motherboards have an FSB speed of 1600MHz vs an HP or Dell, etc at 1333 or less (usually less, but just barely over 1000MHz).

The phone currently on the market that could possibly trump either the psp or ds is the HTC Touch Pro/Fuze, sporting more than 2x as much RAM as the iphone, clocked at 104MHZ faster CPU, and a GPU. But just wait for the Nvidia Tegra devices--those will own all!
Last year, around winter, Vista's updates made it far worse, and it would crash just when browsing through files, but since SP1 and summer updates, it's really improved immensely--64bit edition has been great for greatly demanding tasks such as gaming and video editing with major special effects!
