Things are pretty bad when the House of Mouse is beating you. With Kinect and Move coming out, I think this is going to be a tough year for Nintendo.
I wouldn't call Super Stardust, Wipeout or Motorstorm 2 rubbish, but the 3D does seem to be a bit underwhelming.
So to recap, Motorstorm looks cool but suffers from wonky wheels, Stardust is pretty but shallow, Wipeout is worse in 3D and PAIN is PAIN (i.e. - lame). Doesn't sound too great to be honest.
Hopefully the next batch of games will offer something better.

These match-ups kind of drive home how similar a lot of the characters are. Especially the two fat guys.
I agree. The reason the Amiga gave you that special feeling was because it took amazing talent to get the music and graphics into such a small place. It made you feel proud to own it.
Like the music from Shadow of the Beast -- the fact it was coming out of your computer was astonishing. These days, they just hire an orchestra -- the sense of awe is no longer there.
The Amiga 500 was light years ahead of everything when it was first released. It didn't have a graphical rival until the SNES.
Sony kind of shot itself in the foot by making online gaming free. The online gaming is the only reason anyone subscribes to Xbox Live. Still, I think it's kind of funny that these negative articles are coming out -- instead, why not write an article about how Xbox Live should be free?

The X-ray attacks in the new MK are reminiscent of that Tekken spin-off Death By Degrees. Hopefully that is the only similarity. Death By Degrees was crap.

To be honest, I found the gallery of ultra-busty cosplay girls above the story a LOT more interesting.
