VII is the only Final Fantasy game that I completed every side quest and activity in. It's iconic, far more so than any FF game after it.
No Viewtiful Joe?
I was getting ready to Hulk out about Arkham City, but they're talking exclusively about the PC game. Still a bit of a stretch I reckon.
I spent about an hour chasing a deer with a war hammer once. Then I remembered I had a bow. :|
I cant stop dicking about in any dungeon that crosses my path in Skyrim. It takes me ages to get anywhere :-(
Doesn't it have multiple story arcs? I wonder if the doc included all the possible endings, or just one.
I'd add the horses from Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.
Also, does Yoshi count? If you're including the ostriches from Joust, then you gotta include Yoshi!
Them's fighting words. Skyrim will cleave you in twain.
Why would you need five Xbox 360s? Or is that how many times it RROD'd?
Not everyone can afford two consoles. Others only play casually, so they only want one system.
Don't Norwegians speak Scandinavian? Just sayin
Pretty even-handed overview. I was expecting flame-bait but it's actually reasonably balanced. Not sure about the 'winner' though.
Nice to see a balanced mix of exclusives for once. The PS3 and X360 both get two apiece.
Rise of Nightmares is must-play? I guess if you're really into Kinect and zombies.
Actually, Maze War, Battlezone and Corporation are all FPS games that pre-date Wolfenstein 3D by years. (Mind you, they aren't on the list either.)
Marathon was the first FPS to let you look up and down. Hugely innovative title.
Wow. The girl on the bottom right has an insane rack. Should be illegal.
There seems to be a lot of cynicism and negativity floating around about this console - just like there was before the launch of the DS and Wii. People need to have more faith in Nintendo. They might not always cater to the hardcore but they sure know how to make a buck.
The main thing Nintendo needs is a bunch of awesome games at launch that appeal to both hardcore and casuals. There's no reason why the company can't win back serious gamers - plenty of us were convinced by the original Xbox after all. If the games are there, the gamers will come.
It was a collective set of impressions -- Lifehacker, Kotaku and Gizmodo are owned by the same company and all attended together.
