I'm never going to McD again.
Last year's was funnier. The lack of seriousness in this makes it a very obvious April's fool.
I'd buy it.
Even the crappiest graphics can stress the Playstation 3 to its limits, what matters is how effective the programming is, and how much the result appeals to the consumer.
But there are also reports of the announcement being about the Playstation 3 and its future.
Seriously?
NGS ran at 720p though.
They have just as much detail. The Xbox 360 version's moon is covered in white bloom, the PS3 version's is much more properly lighted.
Notice how Eurogamer wrote that there will be purple essence instead of blood, and not Hayashi? They probably just took his quote, looked at the GDC footage and figured that's what he meant with less violence.
NGS2 will most likely have dismemberment and lots of blood, but it won't color your whole screen ridiculously red.
Oh Geoff, that smug of his always gets me a little hotter inside.
Valve took their employee off and GDC staff had to find replacements.
I seriously doubt you are a God of War veteran. If you were, you'd know God of War is all about crowd control. If you have a tight over-the-shoulder camera, how the hell are you supposed to know where all 15 enemies are, and more importantly what they're all doing?
The voice of God.
It's very possible, even more so now that they've launched their website.
Agreed. I think Zelda fans have tired of the cartoon games that get increasingly childish. Would it be so hard to make one like Ocarina of Time on the Wii? Please, Nintendo?
I'll buy it for sure. Hopefully it has Japanese audio with English subtitles?
Probably not.
The gore was toned down for GDC because there would be public viewing for those under 18. If you look closely, you can see enemies with their limbs chopped off and blood colored in blue and purple or not being there at all.
Gore will obviously be in the final game.
What language is that? O_o
Great! I was thinking of getting it for my Xbox 360 now that it's going to be released here in Europe, but now I'll get the Playstation 3 version whenever it releases instead.
My console preference mainly comes down to that I've used my Playstation 3 more and thus know it better. I have spent a lot of time calibrating my image with it, but can't do that with my Digital Video Essentials Blu-ray on my Xbox 360 (and no one has the damn DVD for sale).
