Wow! The campaign sounds just like Modern Warfare 2, except with better graphics. Hmm...strange how that got so much better reviews. ;)
I agree. They're just trying to reel in readers who are excited for anything R3 after the recent screen leaks.
Mine is to stick together with your team. If you get killed in a team game, find and regroup with your team ASAP, and only spread out slightly to secure the power weapons.
The video is leaked, just see it for yourselves guys. I wasn't very impressed with it to be honest. Noctis' character model looked good, but his animations weren't and the environments didn't look shockingly good.
I'm sure I'd be more impressed if there were more characters, action and effects going on though, so to me it was just a short and dull clip to debut with.
The first two are obviously from a CG video, lol.
No it's true. In the first two she's wearing a bikini and some accessories, and the Dark Magician girl costume isn't really that well made. Besides, the clothes are only half the cosplay-you also have to act like your character.
Looks like a big machine gun to me, with some spikes on it for added effect.
Those GoW 3 pictures aren't even really screens. I very much doubt they've paused the game and moved the camera around. First of all they've placed the characters in animations that don't exist in the game, so it's not a stretch of the imagination that they've edited the graphics a bit too.
The Killzone 3 screens are straight of out gameplay, with a detached camera.
Hmm yes, now we'll have to over-analyse that smirk. Observe what he's watching, what kind of mood is he in? Does he show any sign of hurriedly wiping the smirk off his face?
Personally I very much doubt that there will be co-op, but I would certainly appreciate if there were.
They're quite expensive right now, but I imagine there will be a lot more affordable models when this releases in 2011. I may get one around that time, depending on how much the picture quality differs from a same-price non-3d TV, and how much interest there is for 3d then and in the future.
My personal opinion on the Halo series is that the first was excellent. The story, graphics and sound were all well done, but in the end what makes a game have lasting appeal is its core gameplay mechanics. The timing and weapons in Halo were GREAT. The original pistol and sniper rifle are still some of the greatest weapons in shooters in my opinion.
The sequel removed the pistol but added the battle rifle, and an online multiplayer, complete with clan support, emblems, great...
I don't really think the sense of speed has changed. More that there are a lot of in car and behind car camera angle videos. There's also a lot more details on the sides of the track. I didn't think there really was a problem with the sense of speed to begin with. In car and front camera felt pretty accurate to me.
Goob job using some of the earliest trailers from Uncharted 2. Alan Wake has great textures and superb lighting. U2 has better textures and way better animation. Where U2 really goes above the average is in cut-scenes. The character models are animated extremely realistically, and the acting is superb.
In Alan Wake the characters can barely open their mouth correctly, much less express the correct emotions for what they're saying.
I'd like to strangle whatever politician or news magazine employees are using this girl to speak for them. I find it highly unlikely she heard of the game herself and decided to denounce it.
I haven't seen any statements from XFX where they admit that it is, but it seems most likely. They even have some youtube videos with some decent acting and staging in it linked on the auction.
It's a nice piece of marketing imo. Not that they wouldn't have sold without it. They will probably all be gone in a day.
See? In Sweden or any Scandinavian country, both the father and mother would be going to jail for quite some time, guilty of carelessness leading to another's death. In fact, there probably wouldn't even be a gun, since you need a license and a reason to have one here. Even if there were one, it sure as hell wouldn't be on the living room table where your 3yr old is playing because you heard the wind rustle some bushes outside and crapped in your pants.
Why? Because here the new...
Lionhead and especially Molneaux speak too damn much. Every little change they make to their game they label as innovative and ground-breaking when really it's just a step forward, which is what we expect in a sequel.
The best thing I saw in that video was the clothing on the characters. YOU CAN HAVE STRIPED STOCKINGS!!!!
I think it looks good, but I'm still not convinced it's the final boxart.
Agreed. The lighting was impressive though.
What kind of shit article is that? The author can barely even write English!
