@isarai yeah right, and it would of been the same talk that we are having right now. “ oh, MS doesn’t know how to make AAA games” once again the game was in development since 2018. Ms brought them 2021 it’s already deep in its development…. However people bias of MS is gonna believe what they feel is right or should have been done right and just skip over the truth.

Has nothing to do with why this failed. The game was already in limbo when it was being created back in 2018. With high turn over and lack of clear direction with Arkain way before MS brought the studio. “The game reportedly suffered because its development team was continually understaffed, with Arkane’s Austin office employing fewer than 100 people, and insufficient outsourcing support offered by Bethesda.” They were hoping the game would be cancelled, but it wasn’t. Now, I know what you’...

It’s simple, as many of you want to disagree, fight, kick and scream, the future is “games on the go” which means there will be an aggressive push toward streaming. “ PlayStation lead Jim Ryan has said Sony will reveal some "aggressive" cloud gaming plans "in the coming months". As of right now, PS5 supports the ability to stream PS3 titles via a PS Plus Premium subscription, and the PS Now service before it allowed for the same.” Xbox is well on its way buy securing conte...

@shinoff it’s stupid because you don’t understand the lingo of business and consoles are not immune. You either adapt to the change or you die out. It’s stupid because it doesn’t fit into your spoiled comfortable narrative of what you and some people think gaming should be. You either are going to evolve like you’ve been doing with gaming or die out and make room for those who embrace what’s coming.

I mean, I get it but it’s been a known issue for years with development cost, and devs losing money to second hand/used market . 2nd maybe they will later on, but with the way that the industry is going they may not. 3 you just supported the need for the console market to evolve. Why can’t a console be in every house hold like a computer, have access to all games no matter the hardware, that support digital storefronts.

I like when the so called outraged gamer disagrees with the truth it makes my teeth white. They get everything else digitally, but it’s a hard no for video games watch them come back around and swear they were all for Digital downloads later down the road.

Exactly, the only saying is you, either evolve, or you die. Simple as that

That’s not how that works. Just because a certain country or class can’t “afford it” doesn’t stop the future from coming. I mean it sounds noble and all. But, those who have the means to get this game will get it. Those who don’t have bigger things to worry about. Honestly, do you think someone with expensive internet cost are worried about not playing this game?

Right, it’s really not that serious.

I knew metal gear was coming to Xbox two days before the show case l. I had no idea that Alan wake 2 was coming. That’s a day one for me. As far as metal gear goes I’ll wait a few.

It may be higher, or MS might be completely swept out of the industry due to competition. The thing is like the FTC and CMA it’s all speculative, we don’t know. Case in point 30 years ago AOL dominated the Instamessage market. Where are they now? 20 years ago AT&T dominated the telephone market… where are they now? 20 years ago NBA live dominated the the basketball gaming market where is it now? So to use speculative rhetoric as the basis for proving a point to block is disingenuous, and...

Lol, Sony plans on running ads in console gaming too, and they don’t have plan on accessing the mobile space… which I can tell you they are. So where is the shitty sentiment for Sony?

364d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

I believe that’s what they would do until the UK realizes the mistake they’ve made as they miss out on deals.

365d ago 3 agree4 disagreeView comment

That’s because the CMA’s intentions were never to pass it. There is something going on between the FTC and CMA that needs to be viewed and discussed. The fact that they Khan and Cardell can’t answer and continually dance around simple questions raises eyebrows. When Sarah was asked about her interactions with the FTC she dance around it to the point where she had to be forced to either give more detail in public or private. Next, it has been discovered that the CMA exaggerated Microsoft’s sh...

Fair competition? That’s a good one lol.

366d ago 1 agree6 disagreeView comment

Right, the biggest wow, is why the deal was blocked, and how they over exaggerated the lack of competition if MS came into the fold yet had concessions made, other companies are siding with MS, and yet they blocked it anyway…. Off of speculation

369d ago 3 agree6 disagreeView comment

@curtain_swoosh so you’re speculating. The fact is you truly don’t know if it is or isn’t so please provide proof of how this is bad for gamers

369d ago 2 agree8 disagreeView comment

Is that a fact that this deal is bad for All gamers, or are you speculating that it will be?

369d ago 5 agree10 disagreeView comment

@eonjay that is not the CMA’s purpose. Their purpose is to “take action against business and individuals that take part in cartels or anti competitive behavior.” Corporate ambition is just that, ambition, now if it becomes anti competitive then you’re talking. The problem with the CMA is everything they are bringing to the table is a concern, but speculative, and the way the CMA likes to work is they rather be careful than to be wrong even when the evidence says other wise. In this case the ...
