It will if people stop buying the games. But a lot of the newer generation gamers don't know about the golden age of Final Fantasy. If Square-Enix is continuing this road then the next Final Fantasy is going to be a first person shooters like Call of Duty.

Yes but there should also a rule that the batteries should be easy to replace meaning that they are not very difficult to find and not be extremely costly even after five years. Even better would be a universal battery for all electronica from the same size and/or the same company.
I play on Playstation in the EU and the amount of mic users is pretty low. Personally I almost never run into toxic players.

As a fan from the older Final Fantasy games I could tell by the first trailers that it was going to like that. Nothing about Final Fantasy is a typical JRPG anymore. I didn't even bother buying the game.
Now when I want a JRPG I just plat Dragon Quest, Tales and YS games. The Playstation Showcase had a few nice looking ones as well. Granblue Fantasy: Relink and Tower of Fantasy could be good. And I can't wait for the Suikoden remastered. An old school JRPG that is much neede...

I don't know if this is serious or sarcasm, but it says a lot of what Final Fantasy has become.
Stop with the Twin Snakes being on the Collection already, that game was a disaster. Compare it with the original MGS for the PS1 and you can see it's a complete joke. It turned the serious mature game into a comedy act. There's a reason why Twin Snakes never turned up anywhere again and will not be on the Collection.

First console I bought was the PS1 back in the 90s. Games like Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid and Vagrant Story had already mature content. That guy from the article must be new to gaming.
30fps is unacceptable today, at least for Series X it is. Them not lowering the resolution for whatever reason is also not a good sign.

Silent Hill f is the official new Silent Hill game. Ascension was made by a different team, and not meant as a complete new title. It was pretty clear when they revealed all the Silent Hill information months ago.
MGS1 and MGS3 are the classic games in the series. Those two games are remake material. MGS4 is not.
