Jak and Daxter
TimeSplitters were special games. It would have been great now with online multiplayer to play these games PVP or co op.
I haven't played Ragnarok yet but I like the older games more. The ancient Greece setting is interesting and different from other games. It was less serious and more over the top which fits Kratos more. But I understand why they went for a different direction after years of the old GoW games.
Already two years? Really, time flies.
If you are on console, make sure to turn off cross play.
Internet happened. Back in the day there were no patch for finished games, so they had to release games perfect.
Today the mentality is: we'll patch it later.
Even when a game has gone gold, there will be a day one patch! Think about that.
It's not that. Half of the materia from the original game you get in the first part of the "remake", while Midgar is only a small part of the game.
But then again, they didn't really remade the game as they should have.
Those were different times. And like the article says, they didn't know Metal Gear Solid would become a huge success.
Even so, the voice acting in MGS1 is one of the best out there.
Apparantly it makes more sense to do that after the release of the game.
How many floppy disks is that?
That's what battle pass and seasons do to a game. They control how much you can play, how fast you should level and what you can win for free.
Unless Sony does something about it. But the first question should be: Is Kojima still interested in making a new MGS if he could?
Cancel culture at it's finest.
With Starfield release Microsoft can see how many more consoles they sold and if that is enough for ES6 too be an exclusive. Also if the game is still years away from being finished, it might even be a launch title for their new console. That might be what they're going for.
You think they don't know? Gaming has become first about money, after that comes graphic, gameplay, fun and last creativity. It used to be the other way around I remember.
Exactly. If a company like EA or Activision would buy the developer they would ruin the gameplay with season pass and microtransaction. Take Diablo 4 for example.
Why talk about 8K? Right now 4K 60fps isn't even the standard for consoles. Some games even go back to 1080p just to hit 60fps.
Honestly if they remaster Black Ops1 and/or Black ops 2 I would definitely buy it.
I've said it many times: new and opinion pieces should be separated.
It's 3rd person, that's the first mistake they made.
