I'm guessing it's one of those titles and not a completely new release.

I'd like to see your source on that delay, because I didn't see any official SE news post about it.

Unconfirmed? The trailer went live on SE's press site. They may have removed it afterwards, but it did exist (and you can find many mirrors if you search for them)

That's a pretty good machine and it should be able to run most games at high/ultra settings at 1080p resolution.
Some may need tweaking though (for instance, the Ghost Recon Wildlands beta hovered at around 40fps on a similar system with a 1070)

Going from Platinum's previous PC output, I'd bet that NieR: Automata will run smoothly at max detail with that setup.

The demo is only out for PS4 so far, sadly.

It's an open world action RPG developed by Platinum Games (the people behind Bayonetta 1 and 2, Vanquish, W101, etc)
The story is a bit hard to explain, but thankfully you don't need to play NieR 1 in order to play this one.

The trailer was uploaded to the Square Enix press site. Right now it's not available there (guessing it has something to do with their marketing deal with Sony)
The screen I provided in the text of the article was lifted directly from the trailer, and if you wish, I can also PM you a mirror.

Yeah, the biggest problem is that the game doesn't seem to select the hosts very well. I have a decent connection with all the open ports required to run this game without any issues, yet I've been disconnected due to the host losing connection MANY times. Host migration is still a pain in the b***, and For Honor doesn't deal very well with that either, as it usually kicks everyone out of the server if the host disconnects.
I think that the game is truly brilliant, but at...

They haven't announced anything, but I'd bet it'll get a console release after it exits Early Access.

This has been out since December of last year... Why is it news now?

Truer words were never spoken.

Yup! an amazing price for a great strategy title.

Yeah, I also find this naming convention baffling. If it's a real beta, then are we buying a beta as well? But for some reason "demo" is now a bad word.

Yup, the beta was quite enjoyable, this game has a pretty good future.

One never knows, a few years ago everyone would have said "mods on console Fallout games? never going to happen!" and yet here we are in 2017 and mods on console games are a thing :)

That is true with exclusives, but this one is multiplatform anyways (and will also get a Steam release, day and date)

While it's true that the Win10 Store isn't a very good solution for us customers, at least the game isn't exclusive to that platform. This is actually a pretty good deal for Xbox gamers, since they can get both versions. Dunno if the same applies to PC only gamers, since they will probably buy the game on Steam/retail (which is Steamworks)

2693d ago 6 agree1 disagreeView comment

Indeed, it's good for gamers :)

I'd bet it will, people have been clamoring for a good 2D platformer, wouldn't make a lot of sense if they didn't release it on PS4/Vita and Xbone

Not exactly. Rainbow Six Siege has more players now than it did at launch, BF1's numbers are pretty healthy, CSGO is stronger every day, etc. The thing is that it seems that player numbers are distributed between a few games and that's it. EA still has a shot with Titanfall 2, they need to support it carefully, just as Ubi did with Siege.
