The next PSP is set to release in 2011. It's fully touch functional.
As for the concerns about preexisting PSP game. Sony is working hard on getting 60% of them up on the PSN for download. "WE" understand that you will simply have to have a current save file via a firm ware update to your PSP, not one from a website or friend... and it will allow you to DL it from the store onto the HDD.
They are also working very hard on getting those kiosk into stores...
Yes, the next PSP -which will launch, I'm guessing around late 2010 to early 2011... Will absolutley have a graphics update. We were able to see a few of the things it can do and it's absolutley insaine for a portable.
The buttons are not raised. They are all touch. Even the shoulder buttons. The screen is super thin, as is the system. It's about the size of a Razor phone opened.

Absolutely absurd. As dated and primitive as the xbox 360 is... GOWIII isn't going to be the cos for it's demise. A steady flow of original exclusive content, good price point and constant Sony awareness of consumer needs within system updates and features is what will ultimately kill it off.

We don't know just yet... We know that Phil is no longer with Atari and he has been in talks with 3 "major" studios. Konami being one of them, Nintendo being the other. We don't know who the 3rd is.

Not it's not... We've seen it. We've played it and it's in need of some work. Lucky if it's out by March 2010. I'm saying Summer, maybe even fall. They might announce March 2010 at E-3, but it'll slip the date... Just like Heavy Rain did and will do again. That's another train wreck in the making, by the way.
What I know is this...
The graphics are about on par with Socom's for Ps3. Maybe a tad, smidge, better. But barely. The texture work is very dull and flat. Lots of browns and oranges...
We didn't try the game ourselves, weren't allowed to touch the controller, but what we were shown is something very similar to a hybrid of Warhawk/Socom/Full Spectrum Warrior and Quake Wars.
The maps are very large and spread out, but again... very ugly in spots. ...
We don't have all the details on everything but with the expandable memory and Sony's willingness to work with nearly 40 + million PSP owners, I'm sure there is something in the works for that media too.
We're probably guessing it's going to be an add on that allows you to rip them into a drive that is only compatable with the PSP. This is something I really can't answer 100% right now. If I find out anything further before E-3 I'll let ya know in a PM.
