The xbox 360's lead was a fluff one. 1 year without comp and it's still gonna land them ass backwards in last place. Wii is dominating at their low end price and the ps3 is set to overtake with the best hardware value around.

Full circle has come... Sony has once again proven to the world when you're the best, you're the best. You might have bad days... off times... but you'll never completely lose what made you the best.
Sony has constantly been the front runner in this industry and will always be. Without Sony video-games and media as a whole wouldn't be as invested into our society.

Easily, and this is no lie, the best game on the PSN, barring High Velocity bowling. Pixel Junk Monsters is without a doubt worth every damn penny and then some. you won't put it down, man.

I simply don't buy this... MK 2 has never been on the top downloads on the PSN ledger and no one ever plays it online. Warhawk has over 600,000 units sold at retail and some near 500,000 registered users.

On topic, though. Sony won the format war and with that victory the console war. They're the cheapest blu-ray player on the market now and more than that. Cheapest set top box.

12 hours is more than enough gameplay, if you ask me. I'm usually happy with 8, myself. I also don't have much time to game, either. I run 3 different stores in my district and that doesn't leave alot of time.
12 hour games are great, if you can make them interesting from start to finish. You simply cannot afford to have 2 or 3 wasted levels or hours within' that time.

Pandemic is set to announce a new Batman game any day/week now. I'd be more interested in that, but given it's off the new movie... I'm on the fence about it.
If it uses the Mercenaries engine, I could get a tad excited again, though.

Sounds interesting, though. I'd just like it if Sega would make a good Sonic game again. One that takes full advantage of what made Sonic Sonic. PSN/XBL download would suit me just fine.
But why buy a dead dvd upscaler when you can buy a cutting edge Blu-ray player/ps3 that upscalers your dvd's for you and has the awesome perk of never being out of date due to firmware updates?

These are alot of the key features everyone in the beta has been complaining about. It's good to see them coming finally. I for one feel empty in the beta and this will surely help in rectifying this situation.
