Yeah sure R&C: Crack in Time got rave reviews and heaps of awards but why did it sell so little and get so little attention?

It's one of those rare games you can just play over and over and never get bored of it. When the trilogy is complete it will be the best game series to have if you're ever trapped on a desert island with only one series lol. You could play it a million ways.
I'm a bit disappointed that the inventory system of ME1 isn't returning though. I hope they make it a bit more complex than in ME2.

I've never viewed war games as disrespectful, I've always thought of them as modern day memorials (same with war films), put there to show us all the heroic stuff our grandfathers and fathers did.
I'd really like a sequel to Dino Crisis or Onimusha, both great series.
But I think I'd rather someone else do it. Capcom have been absolute pants lately. Everything they touch turns to sh!t. They would probably manage to make something worse than Dino Crisis 3 if Capcom tried to make the 4th one themselves.
Hopefully there's some developer out there who's a huge fan, and they buy the rights to make a game or two. It happened with Fallout.

No one ever talks about that game, yet it got great reviews, has fantastic graphics, wonderful gameplay that isn't just more of the same either, the new time mechanics are spectacular. Best R&C title this gen easily. Yet, no one talks about it.

Agreed. Having to watch the animation to pick up anything in RDR was really annoying.
Walking over things to pick them up is fine, and should never change.

I didn't hate it when I played it, I thought it was ok, just meh. Wasn't great, but wasn't bad either.
But what came after it is why I started to hate it. It derailed the series. The damage it had done wasn't evident immediately.
I mean it revived Wesker, only to not use him until almost 10 years later, then he was killed off in a stupid way anyways. And the whole fighting with Wesker story was really stupid anyways and gave way to all these ...
Battlefront 3 could have been the greatest game ever made! I want it so bad.
What made it worse though, is that it's cancellation was revealed just a mere day after that mouth wateringly awesome trailer was shown.
I hate Code Veronica for the same reasons mentioned in this article. It ruined the entire RE series. I mean, seriously, the game removed features that previous titles had, it was literally a downgrade from RE3.
Add it's shitty faux psychological story, and all those annoying characters that just don't fit in with the RE series. And you have one really terrible game. It's not the worst game I've played, but it's near the bottom of the barrel.

I don't understand all this fanfare for Eternal Darkness, sure it was an ok game, but not THAT good. Why does it get so much hype and respect?
