Whoever wrote this article seriously overrated Halo's music if he claims that nothing else compares.
What about God of War's themes? Akira Yamaoka's work on Silent Hill is legendary, what about MGS themes by Harry Gregson Williams. Even Dragon Age's main theme is more memorable to me than Halo's. Not saying Halo has bad music, just that this guy is seriously overrating it.
Agree so much. This is the worst RE based list I've seen in ages. RE has two storylines, it's Clair Leon story and its Chris Jill story. The Chris Jill storyline is so so so much better and this guy just filled it with Leon Clair stuff.
Best RE games for me are
1. RE3 Nemesis.
2. RE (Gamecube).
3. RE Outbreaks.
4. RE1.
5. RE2.
If you think that you just haven't played a good enough variety of games.
Even the "super powerful unleashed force powers" had been done in other games and done better as well.
Destroy All Humans on the PS2 had something extremely similar to unleashed like force powers, but they were even better as you could do more than just pick people up and push them around with them.

Very glad Jill Valentine got the pick out of the RE girls though. RE5 incarnation aside, she's easily the best.

After they are finished with the 101st Airborne Saga they seem to be doing (which has the Battle of the Bulge, and the Push into Germany left, two more games then I hope), they really should do something about Vietnam. Like the Tet offensive.
Cannot wait for Colonial Marines. We know next to nothing about it but it is still one of my mos anticipated games.

There reviews are basically fueled by hype and how many hits they can get. And I hope we have all heard by now that IGN doesn't even finish playing the games they review. Imaging reviewing RDR without seeing the ending? In some cases IGN has only played the game for 5-10 minutes before reviewing it, remember Mikami's game, God Hand?

Yeah you're right. It just annoyed me how many times this guy mentioned that all video game music except for Mario Bro's 1 and Halo is bland and generic. Makes me think he hasn't really played any games other than those too.
I really think Music is an extremely important aspect of a game, such a great mood setter. Would the old Resident Evil games be half as scary without those chilling atmospheric tunes in the background? I think not.
