I had around 20 PS4's and 30 XBOX One's in stock when I left Christmas eve.
They were both in stock for the past two weeks. Controllers and headsets were nearly sold out though for both systems.
This is at Wal-Mart in upstate New York where I am the supervisor of the electronics and toy sections of the store.
I don't see the problem with this... Who buys a computer and doesn't hook it up to the internet?
Who buys a PS4 and doesn't hook it up to the internet?
What would be the point of buying a smart phone or a smart TV and not using the features that it has...
This is silly. Even if you don't plan on going online (which is stupid to begin with), there are literally hundreds of options for getting the update on the console. Some ...
I believe it is being saved to the cloud. I had a connection error once when trying to view clips because I was monkeying with my router at the time to get open nat. If they were saved to my hard drive, they should have been instantly.
Also, you can view anyone's clips in the world instantly, so they have to be in the cloud.
This^. +Bubs to both of you.
Why not both? Or rather, if you can afford it, Wii U as well?
A true gamer would at least want to play the great games that are available on other systems. Super Mario 3D Land looks awesome, and so does Mario Kart 8. Titanfall looks awesome. Infamous Second Son looks amazing as well.
I am going to play all of those games and more, because I like to play games, not systems.
Well said. I have either played or owned nearly every console that has ever came out. This brand loyalty stuff is stupid. Us V. Them mentality needs to go. Not only in gaming but in the whole world, politics, religion, everything.
Competition is good, but it should not cause so much bickering and complaining from both sides.
I have a gaming PC, an X One, getting a PS4, have a PS3, XBOX 360, 3DS, and will be picking up a Wii U.
My PC is ve...
I loved the online, but I hate how they handled griefing. If someone continuously kills you and you blow up their ride, you are the bad sport? That is bull.
Hopefully they release it soon for PS4, X1, or PC. If they do that and fix the issues it still has, I will definitely play it again. Until then, I am done with it.
If anyone needs to pick up a PS4, Wal-Mart is going to have crap ton of them on Sunday.
We got them in today, but cannot sell them until Sunday.
I game on a Windows 8 PC and I know a lot of people that do as well.
You get performance increases and faster loading times. Windows 7 was/is great, but I will stick with Win 8 for gaming.
From Steam hardware survey:

+bub that was funny.

That is for the Wii. I have used it and it works pretty well. I have the controls mapped to the 360 controller. It is a little glitchy here and there, but I played Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 on it with a few audio bugs here and there.
It says there is a PS3 emulator on there, but no XBOX 360 yet. I have not tried the PS3 emulator.
I guess they will be good at blocking the sun.
Just hit the start (menu) button on the app that you want to close and you will have the option to QUIT.
I caught your sarcasm, but the others didn't apparently.
WTF? Why would you stop playing a game because of something that happened in real life?
Why don't we have an global ceasefire for real? Wouldn't that be something more meaningful?
Besides, this would help lend legitimacy to the games cause people to shoot others BS.
A new engine, and new gameplay would help this game a lot. I really like playing COD4, but everything after that felt too samey.
I like some of the zombies from the Black Ops games, but that is not enough to save the series. They should just make a standalone zombie game.
I played Ghosts on my PC that can run Crysis 3 on high settings, and it looked absolutely terrible for a "AAA" 2013 game. The only thing I really noticed was dog fur and some ...
Oschino, you make no sense.
Battlefield 4 released around the same time and I had well over 100 people in line for it....
I would say it is on a serious decline at least here in upstate New York.
For Black Ops 2 launch we had almost 300 pre-orders at my store. For Ghosts, we had around 75. Both of those numbers are for all systems.
Launch night for Black Ops 2, we had a headcount of of 217. Ghosts had 60 something.
I would say it is declining.
Looks like folks on this site and the site in question need to learn some reading comprehension skills.
"Let’s look at the timeline and facts. Video games, as well as homosexuality, have been around for a while. Video games, as well as homosexuality, was an invention of the early 20th century, although video games, as well as homosexuality, only started to become popular and socially acceptable in the late 1970s. Do you see any coincidences yet?"

I have a feeling that Maxor will be eating his words when this game comes out.
That was all gameplay. Look at a high-res video and look at the jaggies on the cockpit before he gets in. That was definitely gameplay.
