It seems like the entire week has been full of goodies for 360 owners. The confirmation of the 360 Elite, more "PS3 exclusive" games coming to 360, plenty of 360 exclusive games being confirmed...
It's times like these that I'm happy I bought a 360.
Last time I checked, giving more options to the consumers wasn't a bad thing. The Elite 360's are going to be produced in limited quantities, and you don't necessarily have to get one to get a larger HD on your white 360, just buy the HD separately once it comes out.
Besides, the Elite is going to be cheaper than the Premium is at the moment. I don't see how that can be a bad thing.
I had been wondering about this for a few months. I'm glad to hear that it will include a cable to transfer the data (even if it is still just a rumor).

It's no secret that many of the "PS3 exclusive" games are beginning to come out for the 360. The devs are beginning to realize that the PS3 market isn't going to be enough for them to profit and prosper. I wouldn't be suprised if all of these games came to the 360.
The PS3 has major bottlenecks and a horrible SDK. Deciding to use a blu-ray player by default was a bad move on Sony's part. Not only did it drive up the price, but many smart consumers will know that it's a bad idea to buy a product relying on a format that is currently in a format war. If blu-ray lost the format war, what would become of the PS3? This is really coming out. The rumors have been around for months now, as well as the new specs. The image going around the net may be one of the Beta Dev kit, but that's because they don't have a real image of the new one yet.
Being black won't be the only difference. It's going to have a bigger HD, HDMI capabilities, a smaller nm processor, and one or two more things.

Agreed, PS3 fans seem to be doing anything they can to pull themselves off the side of the cliff that the PS3 has put them on.
That's absolutely true. Mainstream PC games haven't even made it to the level of coding that is expected out of those coding for the PS3.
The reason why it seems that more and more people are turning against the PS3 is because it's true. They are realizing that the PS3 is inferior when compared to the 360 and Wii.

Looks sexy, and much better than Motorstorm. The motion blur in Motorstorm made it look horrible.
The Xbox360 is clearly the winner in this. The colors, reflections, textures, and pretty much everything else look much better than the PS3's. The PS3 version looks a bit blurry, and even foggy.
The format war is far from over, but I am still putting my money on HD-DVD right now.
A plus to the Xbox360 is that if you do buy a HD-DVD player, and the format dies, you aren't stuck with a console using a dead format. It's a different case with the PS3.
Don't get your panties in a bunch. I have a right to post my opinions. In no way did I bash any other console, I was just making a statement that recognized some things that have been going on in the past couple of days.
