I don't think its a big deal that his opinion is that ps3 has some things better then xbox 360. If you feel that bad about it, tell Microsoft how you want it improved. I agree with the article's main point, the biggest tech improvement in next gen will probably be physics. Eventually you will come to a point where the line between realism and graphics will become so small that you can't make a significant improvement. Some people wouldn't like this but i like the logic. Many hardcore fans (think PC Enthusiasts) would want the most powerful tech the day its available so the hardware companies make money off these kinds of people. Then on the other end of the spectrum, the casual people can get the next level up when it is in their price range or when they want to/need to upgrade to play the games they want.

I know how you feel. My 2 1/2 year old Powerbook G4 is becoming very outdated and eventually obsolete. I will be playing the Xbox version but funny thing is, i think it would cost a hell of alot more then $400 to upgrade my computer to play these new games.
